It touches on some serious topics, and I want to reiterate that you are never alone. Never. It may feel like it, but you're never truly alone when there are so many of us who feel the same way. You will find your people, and they will find you.
It's okay to reach out to someone if you're going through a situation like Riya was, even if someone told you it's not; even if they manipulated you into thinking it wasn't that bad.
My love, please speak up. You're your very own hero, and I promise that you'll be so proud of yourself regardless of how scary it might be at times.
I want to let you know that I'm proud of you and that you're extremely brave, and I see you. I know how hard it is. How scary it is. And I'm proud of you for fighting through it, even if you shouldn't have to. It's not fair to you, I know that, and I'm sorry.
If anyone ever needs to talk, I hope that the comment section in this book feels like a safe enough place to do so. I hope that everyone who's commented sees others' comments and feels less alone because we're all in this together.
