Originally, the esteemed Lavirins and Cherish families, both holding high-ranking noble status, anticipated the Emperor or Pope to preside over the wedding of Gerald and Alice.

However, complications arose.

The Emperor declined, explaining that the presence of the Cherish family evoked memories of his departed Empress, leading him to announce his decision to abstain from the wedding entirely.

Meanwhile, the Pope's association with me and Godori in a collaboration came to light, besmirching his reputation. Subsequently, revelations linking him to Reynos's dragon control drug surfaced, prompting a delayed trial in the sacred court.

As a result, the responsibility for officiating the ceremony fell to Reynos.

Reynos, deeming me, the appointed imperial hero and saint, more fitting for the role than himself, graciously passed on the duty to me.

Despite the inconvenience, I willingly embraced the task, recognizing it as a joyous occasion marking the union of a new couple.

My father, the first Marquis of Lavirins, playfully inquired, "Why are they marrying while you, engaged yourself, are merely officiating? Hurry and tie the knot!"

Nevertheless, I prepared various things, from writing a toast to arranging small events in advance for the two.

However, with less than a week left, our souls switched.

In truth, had I only needed to oversee the officiation, it wouldn't have posed a significant issue. Reynos could have easily followed the script I had prepared.

The challenge emerged with the additional events we had meticulously planned alongside the ceremony.

So, the whole ordeal began with Godori nosing around.

-Young Lady, there's a scent of a dragon coming from your body.

A few days after my return from the tower, Godori, who had taken a brief nap in my absence, sniffed a few times and dramatically produced a pen.

-This Godori will save you! Head, chest, stomach! Head, chest, stomach!

- Piit!

Hold on a moment. If the dragon scent is emanating from Reynos, why are you hitting me?

Caught off guard during my brief confusion, I felt the impact of the pen, and then, suddenly, it found its way into my nose - Pichu!

I sneezed loudly, and Godori, in response, let out a scream before flying away.

-Huuuaaah! Please widely announce my death to the world, Young Lady!!!

No. Swiftly, I tossed the pen Godori dropped under the desk. Godori wailed,

-Uaaah! My Françoise Esmeralda Lionheart!!!

What a peculiar and grotesque name. Always carrying it around and now even naming a pen.

In the midst of this chaos, Reynos, calmly reviewing the officiation script, sighed.

"It would be nice to coordinate what will happen during the wedding for a moment."

Godori, with a defiant look in his squinted eyes, turned his head with a clenched fist.

- Godori won't follow the words of the dragon. He won't do such a thing.

- Piit. (You just called me a dragon.)

- Do you think I'm that foolish?

-What? Then why did you hit me with the pen?
