"You, you, what do you think you're doing!"

Marquis Lavirins shouted at me, much to my surprise.

What am I doing, well, I'm eating a chocolate cookie... While I was muttering to myself, another chocolate cookie slipped into my mouth.

I grabbed it and chewed it eagerly, much to the dismay of Marquis Lavirins, who was on the verge of passing out.

"Will you not come down at once? I beg your pardon, Your Highness, my daughter has done you a great disservice by her inexperience!"

He bent down to his knees, and I realized that I had dared to use the crown prince as a chair.

I was about to slide off his lap when Reynos, holding me even tighter, whispered in my ear.

"It's okay, just stay where you are."

"No, I want to get down."

I wasn't sure if it was as rude as the Marquis had said, and I was a little embarrassed to be doing this in front of everyone, so I begged him to let me down, and he let go of me with a wistful look.

He didn't forget to kiss me on the ear before letting me down to the ground, a gesture that froze Marquis Lavirins and Count Lindel in their tracks.

Meanwhile, Leather, seeing Reynos in bright light for the first time, was bewildered, saying to himself, 'He looks just like that doll!'

'Talk or die.'

I shot him an intense glare to warn him to watch his mouth, while the wizard from the Magic Tower who had rushed over grabbed my hand and pleaded.

"Please, please, Little Marquis, convince His Imperial Highness to leave the Empire!"

What the hell is this wizard talking about?

It wasn't worth the trouble. I cut through the wizard's request like a knife.

"I don't want to."

He had been lashing out at Reynos ever since it was revealed that it was Reynos who had solved the scroll formula. He'd been trying to get him to leave the Empire, but Reynos had flatly rejected the offer on the grounds that I was in the Empire, so he was trying to convince me now.

"As a special favor, I'll allow the Little Marquisto stay in the tower, and I'll make sure you don't have to lift a finger!"

Well, that's kind of tempting.

Before I was possessed, I had hoped to become a wealthy millionaire.

I feigned serious consideration, and Leather, seeing through it, hung on for dear life.

"You're not really going to go, are you?"

"I'm thinking about it."

"What do you mean by that, young lady!"

"Ciella!"

Count Lindel and Marquis Lavirins exclaimed, alternately stunned. Phew, they can't take a joke.

I shrugged toward the wizard of the tower.

"You see, I can't, because there are too many people who would be sad if I went to the Magic Tower."

"Then..."

"But there is one person who deserves to go to the Tower, and it's not me or His Highness Reynos."

The wizard, his shoulders slumped from repeated refusals, looked up. I glanced toward the back of the room, toward someone no one had paid attention to until now.
