"Perhaps we should suggest to His Holiness that a saint be declared. When was the last saint?"
"About two hundred years ago, I believe."
"Hehe, I never thought I'd see the birth of a saint in my lifetime."
Restricting only one person, Gilliot, the emergency meeting ended on such a warm note.
As everyone thanked each other for their service and left, only Gilliot remained frozen, his fists clenched in frustration.
'The Queen has said that Little Marquis Lavirins must be crushed.'
And yet she is to be venerated as a saint. This is outrageous.
'I must inform the Queen.'
Gilliot immediately prepared to go out.
He rushed to the Queen, who had been absent from her palace since the Ruby Palace engagement, and told her what had happened.
The queen's court was understandably in an uproar.

"What the hell is this..."
Upon hearing Gilliot's report, the Queen repeated the same words in bewilderment. What, what the hell is this?
It was a good thing the Little Marquis had a paternity test, that was for sure.
If only she could somehow manipulate Marquis Cherish into using it, she could promptly eliminate that Tyriel woman. But to think that it would result in Little Marquis Lavirins being declared a saint-what a preposterous notion.
'Was it really that easy to become a saint?'
The arduous task of bringing Little Marquis Lavirins to her knees seemed insurmountable. What options did she have?
These vexing thoughts consumed the Queen's mind. Restlessly pacing the room, she nervously bit her nails until Gilliot, who had prostrated himself before her, reassured her not to fret.
"Fortunately, His Holiness is on our side."
"What do you mean?"
The Queen halted abruptly, fixing Gilliot with a piercing glare.
Gilliot recounted the conversation he had recently held with the Pope, just prior to his arrival at the palace.
"His Holiness is contemplating the canonization of Lady Puritina."
In fact, the pope was not present at the meeting of senior priests because he was talking to Knox about "how to get the crown prince to rely more on the temple."
But when he heard about the meeting from Gilliot, he wrote, "Rest assured that it will not happen, no matter what."
"If Lady Puritina were to become a saint, the imperial family would rely on us more."
"If we make Lady Puritina use the Purification in public, then naturally the position of Saint will be given to Lady Puritina."
Hearing this, Gilliot was a bit dumbfounded.
Making Lady Puritina use purification in public?
That was impossible since she couldn't control the crown prince's demonization at will. It was then that a theory popped into Gilliot's head.
'You mean he's going to tamper with the medicine for the crown prince?'
Indeed, it was within the temple that the medicine, which alleviated the curse of the evil dragon borne by Reynos, was concocted. This implied that with a bit of manipulation within the temple, the crown prince could potentially be transformed into an evil dragon.
