Chapter 18

CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

When Kiyoshi arrived at the White house (no pun intended), it was surrounded by police cars. "What the hell?" he wondered. He got out to investigate the situation.

He rang the doorbell of the house. It was a police officer who answered the door. "Who are you? State your business," she demanded.

Kiyoshi wished she'd just let him in. It was freezing outside. "I'm Kiyoshi Casper and I came to visit my boyfriend and his family," he told her.

The officer eyed him. "Boyfriend? But Lila said her boyfriend was coming over," she said. Kiyoshi growled. "Lila! Uh, when I get my hands on that little girl-- I'm not going to do anything, because anything else would be bad!" he said, remembering he was speaking to a cop.

"Whatever," she sad. "Just get in before you freeze your ass off."

Kiyoshi walked inside. The once familiar home now looked completely different. It was filled with people, not just police officers. The entire White family was there, so were Amanda Howl, Mrs.Howl, Cameron Fisher, and someone else Kiyoshi didn't recognize. He was quite tall and very muscular. Despite the weather, he wore a shirt that completely exposed his arms and the strange tattoos that covered them. He hair was just as dark as his eyes, which looked terrifying. His hands were held back by handcuffs.

"Who- Who is that?" Kiyoshi stuttered. "Axel Kakes," came a voice from behind him. Kiyoshi turned around to see the beautiful face of Kaito White. "Hi Kaito," Kiyoshi said. "Would you mind explaining what is going on right now?"

Kaito didn't respond. He just grabbed Kiyoshi's arm and led the smaller boy up to his bedroom. He slammed the door once they were inside.

Kaito explained everything: Amanda's father, Tommy, Axel and Cameron, and all the problems that connected them to Amanda.

"So, what are they doing about it?" Kiyoshi asked. "Mr.Howl, Axel, and Cameron are being sent to prison. Mrs.Howl and the cops are trying to find a place where Amanda can stay and get therapy and counseling," Kaito told him.

"So why did you want me to come here?" Kiyoshi questioned. Kaito linked hands with him. "I thought you deserved to know. And because I was scared. I need you to come comfort me."

"So what are we gonna do?" Kiyoshi asked. "Just wait here until everyone leaves?"

"Do you want to get interrogated by police officers?" Kaito asked. Kiyoshi shook his head. "Then I suggest you stay here," his boyfriend said.

Kiyoshi rest his head in Kaito's neck. "Do you really find this comforting?" he asked, meekly. "More than you think," Kaito answered.

He gave Kiyoshi a small kiss on the temple. "Let's get all this insanity off our minds," he said, "and talk about something much more important." Kiyoshi looked up at him. "What would that be?"

Kaito smiled. "Valentine's Day."

"That's soon, isn't it?" Kiyoshi looked worried. "Something wrong with that?" Kaito questioned. "No," his boyfriend replied. "I just don't know what to get you."

"Oh, I think you do," Kaito said, in a suggestive tone. "What does that mean?" Kiyoshi asked. Kaito leaned in close to his ear. "It means you have exactly want I want."

Kiyoshi then realized just what he meant. He let out a sigh. "You're asking for sex, aren't you?"

Kaito grinned. "Please!"

Kiyoshi let out a deep breath and let his body fall against Kaito's. "You know I can't put down an offer like that," Kiyoshi said.

Kaito grinned even harder.
