My First Love

Chapter 12

Haven't posted in awhile! Sorry! I had this chapter written before but I lost it :( so I needed to completely re-write it. But here it is now! Hope you like it!

CHAPTER TWELVE

Amanda growled at the boy in front of her. "Nothing ever happened between me and Kaito! He has a BOYFRIEND. It's kinda hard to have an affair with someone who's taken."

The blonde-haired boy wasn't buying it. "It isn't hard. All it takes is some alone time, which you've had plenty of, since you seem to not care about me anymore. And you never cared, because you would always rather be off with Terri or Sam than with your own boyfriend."

Amanda rolled her eyes. "You're not my boyfriend," she snarled. "Not anymore," the boy replied. "What's up with you?" Amanda yelled at him. "Why do you suddenly care so much?"

The boy frowned. "Like you don't know," he said. Amanda gaped at him. "No, Cameron. I really don't. Now please tell me what this is about before I slap you or something! Wow, I have got to work on my threats."

Cameron sighed. "You don't seem to understand. I told you before that you were a terrible gossip, and liar, and all that mean stuff, but those were only excuses to get rid of you. The real reason I'm mad is because of this." He pulled a photo from his pocket to show her.

Amanda gasped. "How'd you get that photo?!" she demanded. "I have connections," Cameron said cooly, sliding the photo back into his pocket. "The real question is, why'd you do it?"

Amanda gulped. She was shaking nervously, never realizing the true intensity of the situation. She still couldn't believe Cameron had found out.

"Do your gay friends know about this?" he asked. "I thought no one knew about it!" Amanda yelled at him. "Please, just tell me where you got that picture."

Cameron shook his head. "Can't do that," he said. "I'm sworn to secrecy. Besides, I never give away my sources."

With that, he left, leaving behind an absolutely stunned Amanda. She didn't know what to do, so she did the first thing she could think of. She pulled out her phone and dialed a number rapidly. She then held the phone up to her ear.

"Kaito?" she asked. "Can you meet me at school early? I have something really important to tell you."

Kaito was awakened from his beautiful slumber by the sound of his phone ringing. He groaned as he got up to answer the call.

"Hello?" he said, lazily. It was Amanda. She sounded frantic and panicked. "Okay, calm down," Kaito soothed her. "I'll be there in thirty minutes."

Kaito hung up. "Who was that?" came the voice of a very sleepy Kiyoshi. "Amanda," his boyfriend said. "She asked if I could come to school early so she could tell me something important."

"If she says she really does still have feelings for you, tell me so I can be sure to laugh in her face," Kiyoshi said, laughing. He was in a very giggly mood. "What's up with you today?" Kaito asked. "You just randomly burst out in laughter, and you got up early. Voluntarily."

Kiyoshi punched Kaito's arm lightly. "You woke me up!" he complained. Kaito smirked. "That's coming from the heaviest sleeper I know," he said.

He sat back down on the bed he'd shared with Kiyoshi. They had spent the night together at the Casper house. Kiyoshi insisted. "Someone's anxious to spend his night hours with me," Kaito had said. That earned him a nice punch in the arm from Kiyoshi.

"You can go back to sleep if you want," Kaito told his boyfriend. "Naw," Kiyoshi said. "I'd rather just stay awake and stare at you." He pulled the covers off of himself to sit up. He began staring at Kaito intently. "Wow, stalker much?" the victim of the stare questioned. "This is what you get for staying up half the night just to stare at me," Kiyoshi pointed out. This was true; Kaito had stared at him the previous night. A lot.
