Author’s POV :
Its been a week since last time they all met. Since then Adi and nihu have came really close to each other , they chat on phone and talk on call for hours and also met at cafes near Nihu’s workplace . Aadish invited Anu and Nihu for the lunch at their home on the weekend , as they both agreed . It’s been a week after the sales meeting since then Anu has’nt heard anything from Dhruv.
“Maa mei kya pehenu!! I don’t have anything to wear” Adi whined like a kid “Beta she’s coming to our home for lunch , tumhari shadi fix nhi ho rhi hai” his mom replied as Dhruv and his dad was watching their drama from far away.
“Dhruv I think even you should find a girl for yourself now” his dad suggested him , for which he just smiled in turn.
“Nmaste uncle aunty” Anu and nihu greeted the family
“Aree waah tum dono tho bohot pyari bacchiyan ho” Adi’s mom said patting their head , as the both shyly laughed . Adi was introducing everyone meanwhile Anu’s eyes where stuck searching for someone in particular “kya hua anu kisse dhund rhi hai?” Adi asked teasingly as they were sitting in the living room
“Kisi ko nhi bas tera ghar dekh rhi hu” “Tho chal mei dikha deta hu” Adi got up from her place to show them their house , a deep voice interrupted him “Tere friends pehele baar ghar aye hai aur tune unhe hall mei baitha rakha hai , go n have some fun with them” Dhruv came inside from the backyard
They all had lunch and went and watched a movie even Dhruv joined them. His confusion is getting a bit clear these days.
Niharika’s POV :
Aadish and Dhruv were sitting on both the corners while I and anu were in the middle. After I met him for the first time we have been chatting a lot these days. Anu and Dhruv bhai were busy watching movie while I suddenly felt a weird sensation on my thighs under the blanket we all were having over ourselves. My eyes widening at Aadish as I whispered yelled at him
“What are you trying to do”
“What?” he asked innocently as if he did nothing
“I’ll go and get some snacks” I said nervously
“I’ll go and help her” said Aadish.
I was going towards kitchen as a strong pair of hands pulled me into a corner “Runing from me buttercup?”
Adi asked burying his face in my neck , which gave me shivers down my spine and at the same time it was hurting from inside
“What are we adi?” I asked him with moist eyes
“What do you mean?”
“You slide your hands on my thighs and then suddenly after sometime act as if nothing happened , your confusing me”
“You wanna know who we are right? , let me tell you what do you mean to me”
saying that he took me beside the pool , the area was decorated with beautiful red roses and with a swing besides the pool , beautiful balloons , he held my hand and made me sit on the swing , knelt in front of me and said
“Meeting you for the first time brighten up my world , I felt like I’ve lived my life soo far just for this moment , your honey brown eyes made me drown into the world of love and happiness , your silky tangled hair touched my skin with all the affection I’ve ever got in my life , your feathered touch got me crazily carve for more , sound of your jhumka and bangles felt the ancient music to my ears , I might be late to be your first but I eagerly want to be your last mi amore"
saying that he pulled out a box from his pocket
“I love your Dandelion, will you be mine?” he asked me with most sincierity
“I want to have a family with you just like you dreamed of” , his words left me speechless , I just nodded my head with a huge smile and tank of tears as he slide a beautiful ring into my finger. I bent down to his level to endure him into a kiss full of love as we heard sound of clapping which took our attention
“Accha tho isliye ye lunch pe bulane ka plan banaya gaya tha” said Anu galring at us
“Nhi nhi anu ye lunch plan nhi but hume fool bana ne ka plan tha” Said Dhruv
“Fool tumher muzhe nhi” Anu whispered to Dhruv
“Haan tum to ho hi pehele se” Dhruv mocked and laughed at her
“Tumhe to mei baad mei dekh lungi Mr. High speed , pehele in dono se nipat lu” Anu went towards Nihu and twisted her ears
“Bsf bolti hai aur ye tak nhi bataya ki you had a crush?” she said angrily
“Aur tu kutte?” Dhruv said removing his shoes to beat his younger brother as they ran beside the pool
“bhai bhai suno tho , aapko love ka L bhi nhi pata tho apko kaise bata ta ye sab”
“love ka L beta tere baap se masti nhi” Dhruv said throwing his shoes at Adi , as both the ladies enjoyed the sight of friendly fight among brothers , later Dhruv and Anu congratulated the new couple
“Adi dhyan rakhna nihu ka warna teri tange tod dungi mei” Anu warned
“And nihu I hope you’ll take care of him too he’s still a kid”
It was time for Anu and Nihu to go to orphanage as they bid farewell to the family with happy memories in their heart.
Author’s POV :
Dhruv was standing at the balcony , stargazing , suddenly he felt a tap on his shoulder ,
“Kab tak iss tarah se akele taaro ko dekhega apni chanda ko jaldi batade about ur feelings”
his father said with two drinks in his hand handing one to him
“Matlb dad? , kaun chanda?” he asked in confusion
“Today during the lunch , they way you were staring at Anamika anyone can clearly say you have feelings for her”
“No dad there is nothing like that , she’s the one who broke my car and my head”
“Hmm I see”
“Dad I wanted to ask you one thing “ then he told his dad the whole story and also about his confusion about anu
“beta you know you hate her just because she broke your car which doesn’t even matter to you anymore , but you loved her from your heart without even knowing her looks , you fell for her aura not her looks , I suggest you to ask your heart what is more important to it”
“hmm”
, after the conversation he and his dad had the drink and went inside to sleep , it was the moment of his life when he knew that ‘MR. DHRUV RATHOD’ is head over heels for his ‘ANAMIKA’.
A week later at Dhruv’s office :
“I am really worried for the boss” an employee said
“Yes soo am I, he’s been smiling like a idiot since morning looking at his phone”
The gossip of boss smiling grew like fire among the employees.
I heard a knock on my cabin door as I asked my PA to come inside , he kept talking about some meeting stuff while I was busy looking at my ‘ANAMIKA’S’ pictures , I was snapped out of thought when he called me like 3 times
“sir all the employees are worried about your health since the morning you are looking at your phone and smiling”
“Well I am smiling cause I’ve found the reason of my happiness."
