A faint ringing fills the warm air. Sunlight peeking in from between the curtains disturbs the woman's eyes. She rolls to her right before extending an arm to stop her alarm. The digital clock reads: 6:20am.
The woman rubs her eyes before dragging herself out of bed. She walks to the drawer in front of her bed and begins to pick out clothes. Afterwards, she goes into the bathroom to shower.
While blow drying her hair, she receives a notification.
Sunwoo 💕
>Hey Hanni, I'm really really sorry about what I said last night. I didn't mean it. I wasn't thinking and I'm sorry that I didn't listen to your feelings. I was dealing with a lot and I should've taken a step back. You don't have to forgive me, I understand if you don't. But know that I still love you and care about you.
Hanni's heart felt like it just dropped from the top of a rollercoaster. She focused all of her attention on the message block, swiftly moving her eyes across the screen. After staring and taking in what the message said, her fingers began to type out a response.
Sunwoo💕
>I appreciate your apology
Sunwoo. However, I don't
think I can forgive you so
easily. I think it's best if we
distanced ourselves from
each other.
DeliveredHanni lets out a long and exasperated sigh before roughly putting her phone on the bathroom counter. She props her hands on the counter and drops her head. She begins to sob when the hurtful words of her ex Sunwoo replays in her mind.
"Sunwoo. You're not listening to me! I'm hurt. You're hurting my feelings. I always try my best for you..for us." Hanni shouted, gasping for air.
"You're such a selfish person. You only ever care about yourself. I'm not hurting you, I'm just telling the truth. You hardly ever spent time with me. Everything was about studying and your job. It's like you don't even care about me. You're so pathetic, living the same day over and over again. I can't believe I fell in love with you. It's my biggest mistake." Sunwoo snapped back.
Tears fell from Hanni's cheek when she remembered the night before. All the hurt and betrayal washed over her once again. It was as if she relived that night. She got anxious at the thought of having to see her ex again. She knew she had to collect herself since her medical exam notes was at Sunwoo's place.
She gathered herself before splashing her face with cold water hoping to wake her up from the pain in her chest. She dried her face gently with a towel and looked into the mirror. She had no time or energy to do her makeup, so she opted for the next best thing.
Hanni rushed out into the living room, grabbing her bag hanging on the wall. She then sprinted over to the kitchen and grabbed her keys. She opened a drawer in the kitchen grabbing a few black face masks before slamming the drawer shut.

Hanni sped walked through the morning streets of Seoul. The sun was barely visible. Streams of warm light peaked between the buildings. The wind had a cool breeze. She briefly closed her eyes, enjoying the peacefulness. Hanni then reached into her pocket, pulling out her phone.
