Naomi's POV
I don't know what got over me last night. I was just left wanting more so I just wanted to test the waters and see what happened, knowing damn well that Gage would have taken me on that bed or anywhere in the house for that matter.
I was in the library today because I still needed that space that I asked from Gage and I was fighting my wolf from taking over and going with him to the office so we could try having hot office sex.
Jeez, what is going on with me? Am I in heat or something?
I shook my head at myself. I need to get my mind out of the gutter. I have to figure out what can be done about Hades and how to start planning and preparing myself for the inevitable.
Gage started giving me some hand-to-hand combat lessons in the home gym a few days ago. The gym was yet another aspect of the house that I found out recently. I swore I thought I inspected every inch of the house by now.
"What am I going to do!" I exclaimed to myself.
I pulled out some paper and a pencil and set at one of the desks by the window and decided to go over some facts.
1.) I was kidnapped when I was 14 years old and I'm 20 years old now. It's been 6 years since I was kidnapped.
2.) Sage was kidnapped earlier than I was, I'm not sure when but she's 23 now meaning that she has been missing for over 6 years and has just now made her reappearance.
3.) I was released on my 18th birthday and it's been 2 years since I have been released.
4.) The blood moon pack is working with the wolf reapers and has been for a very long time. They have continued to attack packs and are headed for Golden Heart.
5.) We know that Hades is after me, after all, he sent shifters to find my location. However, we do not know when this impending war will come. It seems like they're slowly making their move and making calculated movements and attacks. Why?
Getting frustrated I got up and paced the room.
When is this blood moon and when is the Blood Moon Pack going to attack Golden Heart or the Midnight Pack?
Maybe you should call Gage and he can help you brainstorm.
No, I want to leave him alone for today. I think we both need some space after we nearly had sex last night.
You know, mates having sex is not a bad thing you know that right?
I do but for some reason, there is something in the pit of my stomach from stopping me. I feel like I wouldn't be able to fully enjoy it. There's something that is holding me back and I bet it has something to do with Hades.
It might be another suppressed memory, after all, you didn't remember that you had those lullabies memorized until the shifter said something about it.
What if I go into a panic attack that I can't come out of?

Last night had to have been my wolf's doing. Pushing me to test the waters to see what will happen.
What a pain.
My mind drifted back to the situation at hand.
Sage.
I'm sure the wolf we have been seeing has to be her, but why does she keep running away? Wouldn't she want us to save her? If she was released then who side is she on? She's been in captivity for way longer than I have, I'm sure she has developed some sort of Stockholm syndrome.
