Gage's P.O.V
I was sitting in the room where we usually met for meetings. I was usually the first one to be there but today I was nearly the last one.

Regular pack meetings usually consisted of at least 5 elders, 3 scouts, 4 border patrol leaders, and at least 2 regular members of the pack.

When I arrived I knew the question they were going to ask. So I answered, "I'm not late. We're still waiting for the elders aren't we?"

"Yes Alpha. Although you are usually the first one to be here. So you can imagine our surprise." Frankie said speaking for the border patrol.

"I suppose." I dismissed.

"Someone keeping you busy?" My uncle asked walking in with the rest of the elders filing in behind him.

I glanced at him and gave him an annoyed look. He and along with the rest of the elders has met my mate.

"Don't worry about it."

"Rodney, leave my son alone." My father defended me.

I smiled appreciatively at him but lingering in the back of my head was blame. I blamed him for the fight that Naomi and I had earlier today.

Putting that thought out of my head I proceeded with the meeting. "Scouts, what information do you have for me."

Jake, one of the scouts began to speak. "So we have been scouting the enemy like you have ordered, and lately they have been raiding packs. They would take valuable things, but they wouldn't kidnap anyone. Which is very strange considering the Blood Moon Pack is known for kidnapping and spreading fear. For now they only seem to be spreading fear."

I nodded thinking about this information. "Anything else?"

"We also believe that Blood Moon might be working with someone." Caden, another scout answered.

"What makes you believe this?" My father asked.

"Well, multiple raids of different packs would happen at once. All in completely different areas. It's impossible to have all the raids by the same pack. The raids are too alike to be a coincidence. Blood Moon has to be working with someone." Caden said.

"Have you gotten in contact with these packs?"

"Yes, we have and we learned that the raids have been happening at night. The raiders blind folded all the members so they could not be seen. Plus the raiders masked themselves with heavily worn cologne. Which is very peculiar considering a regular wolf could just mask their scent without a problem." Kyle the last scout said.

"Also, we have noticed that they seem to be heading westward, towards the territory of the Golden Heart Pack. Furthermore, their behavior has been very concerning. It looks like the Blood Moon Pack are reluctant about something, as if they are waiting for something. We are not sure of what yet, but I assure you we will find out." Jake finished bowing his head after in respect.

"I have faith that you will." I said then I turned my gaze to the border patrol and asked, "Border Patrol what intel do you have for me?"

"Recently we have seen a she-wolf roaming our territory, and she's isn't part of this pack. Although she doesn't seem to be a rogue. We think it's the same wolf that you brought to our attention last weekend." Frankie began.

"And?" My father asked curiously.

"We have noticed that she roams mostly at night. She's very fast and quick on her toes. Whoever this is seems like they have been on this land for years. She knows all the shortcuts and land markings. As if she was a former pack member." Frankie said.
