Gage's P.O.V
Blissfulness. When I kissed her that's what the feeling was like.

The world stopped when I was with her, and all my worries dissipated right before my very eyes. My body relaxed and my heart beat matched hers. My hands were rubbing her back as I hugged her tighter to me.

Before I could deepen the kiss she pulled away but it was reluctantly.

It's going to be hard to wait for her without wanting  to touch her all the time or do unspeakable things to her.

With her smooth dark skin and big brown eyes. Her curly hair bounced wherever she went. Her wide hips sashayed every time she walked. She was absolutely hypnotizing. I was obsessed with her.

"I'm going to go lay down, I feel really tired all of a sudden." She said softly against my lips.

I wanted so badly to lay down with her. I nearly asked her if I could but she needed her space. This is already killing me. I just wanted to provide her with a sense of comfort. I wanted her to know she wasn't alone.

I snapped back into attention by her laugh. It was so whimsical, like wind blowing through chimes to make a beautiful melody.

"I'll be okay. I promise. I'll call you if I need anything. Don't look so worried!" She said playfully.

"I can't help it. I'm sorry."

"Don't be." She said kissing my forehead one last time before she got off my lap and left the library.

I sighed heavily through my nose and rubbed my eyes with both hands. I kinda sat there in the library with my eyes covered, just thinking.

Now what?

My hands ran through my hair and I tried to relax but my thoughts just went back to Naomi. I was consumed by her. I couldn't stop thinking about her.

What did I even do before Naomi?

I couldn't even remember.

Was I even happy?

Probably not.

With Naomi in my life, everything just feels right. The house doesn't feel empty anymore. I actually like coming home knowing that there is someone waiting for me. Someone that is as happy as I am seeing them.

Almost happy. She wouldn't have needed her space if it wasn't for Hades.

Hades!

I found what I needed to do. I need to make a plan.

I walked to my office and I took my place on the chair. I pulled out the file that contained notes and other documents that were taken during the interrogation that Naomi conducted. I got to work on brainstorming plans and ideas of how I could end Hades once and for all.

It has been 3 hours since we were both in that library.

Should I check on her? Exactly how much space does she need? I don't know how much longer I can do this! She's my Luna for goodness sake! We need to be side by side 24/7!

Relax. Let her come to you. Don't hover over her.

I was surprised that my wolf was the only one being rational about this.

I wonder if she's hungry. I should check on her.

Don't hover. She said she'll call you if she needs anything. Go outside and take a breath of fresh air.

I did what my wolf said and I made my way to the back patio. To my surprise I saw Naomi already there. She was sitting on a couch with her knees pulled up to her chest. She was basking in the moonlight.
