Chapter Twenty-Nine - Tease

Rays P.O.V.

Seems like Naomi will always be a pain in my ass even though we have made amends already. She had a weird knack for getting under my skin. Although, as much as I hated to admit it, something was off about the whole situation. This could very well put my mate in danger, which is unacceptable.

"Ray?" Mae's sweet voice filled the office. Looking up she had the door cracked open, and she was looking at me with those innocent but concerned golden brown eyes. Everything about her was perfect. I couldn't allow her to be in a situation of danger. I will not have it.

"Come here, sweetie," I said pushing myself from under the desk and holding my arms out for her.

She smiled, walked over, and straddled me while embracing me, causing sparks to fly off from the touch. I couldn't help but kiss the crook of her neck and take a deep breath. She was everything.

"Baby I'm taking us on out tonight, make sure you look nice," I stated. I wanted to celebrate her and everything we've accomplished together as a couple. I wanted to show her how much I love her and adore her.

"We went out on a date like 2 days ago." She said smiling and giving me a confused look.

I cocked an eyebrow at her. "We didn't go on a date today, what does two days ago have to do with today?" I questioned seriously. Does she not know she deserves the world and all of the riches that the world has to offer? "Do you know how precious you are? Have I not been good at reminding you of that?" I asked concerned.

She threw her head back and let out a laugh that sounded like musical chimes. "Ray you remind me every day how much I mean to you. I'm just saying we had a date recently, but I guess it doesn't matter. I love spending time with you." She said earnestly.

My heart fluttered as I stared at her in awe. How could I have gotten so lucky? Her bouncy curly hair framed her perfectly from her structured model-like face to her perfectly full lips. I must have been in the moon goddess's favor, that's the only explanation for my feeling of her smooth skin under my fingertips at the moment.

"You are everything," I said breathlessly. I pulled her in for a kiss and pleasure shot through my veins, just being in her presence was enough to create a tent in my pants. Pressuring her body to close the gap between us I felt her nipples through her shirt stiffen into firm peaks. Deepening the kiss I caressed the small of her back slowly inching to the top of her ass.

I got up with her still in my arms and cleared my desk of its items, the clanking frames and scattering of papers echoed throughout the office as I laid my love on the desk.
