After an hour of straight arguing with Gage. He finally agreed to letting me stay in the guest room till further notice.

I wasn't about to sleep with him. I didn't know him and I'm not the type of girl to sleep around.

When I settled in my new room I decided to go exploring.

I was at the Alphas mansion where generations of Alphas and Luna's had lived. At least that's what I had learned from the pictures that littered the walls of the house. The house itself was amazing, if it wasn't an Alphas house it could have housed over 50 people. The main theme color was turquoise blue and bright gold. It reminded me of my pack colors.

Nothing was simple in the house. Either the wallpaper held a intricate design or the floor did. When I found the kitchen I instantly fell in love. It was the size of a master bedroom maybe even bigger. There were marble counters and a marble island to match, right in the center of everything. The refrigerator was also big, seemed like everything in this house was enourmous.

In this pack everyone had a high position or reputation to uphold. Everyone had ancestors that were Alphas, Betas, and Deltas. I smelled the rankings as soon as I stepped foot from the car.

I walked around some more and I finally stumbled into an office. It must have been Gage's.

Awe he has a little office to do big boy work.

There was a large oak wood desk in the center of the room and a bookshelf behind it. There was a coffee table off to the side along with a fancy yellow couch. The color went really nice with the rest of the office. I noticed on the right corner of the desk was a small mini green cactus.

A strange plant choice.

On the desk was tons of papers. Gage was very unorganized, and whatever he was working on looked stressful. I walked behind the desk and sat down in his chair. It was so comfortable I almost nodded off to sleep right there.

I shook my head and rifled through his papers. I scanned through them and five words stuck with me.

Alpha Hades and Blood Moon Pack.

That's when Gage walked in. "There you are, didn't you hear me calling you?" He asked.

"Uh no." I said putting his papers down. I didn't know what it meant but I did know his pack was planning something. "What's all this?" I asked motioning to all the papers.

"Just business." He answered. He walked to his desk and cleaned up the mess and shoved it in his desk drawers.

"What type of business?" I pried.

"Nothing that you should worry about." He said giving me a soft smile. He had his hands in his pocket again and he was leaning on the desk.

"You can't have business dealing with the Blood Moon Pack." I demanded.

"I don't do business with them, I'm trying to figure out a way to take them down." He said giving me a confused look.

"Just stay away from them." I said as chills went down my spine.

"Look, I know what I'm doing so don't worry about it." He said trying to soothe my nerves.

I just looked at him and got up to leave. He grabbed my wrist and I flinched from the sparks that filled my veins and made my hairs stand on end.

He interlocked his fingers with mine. "What do you know about the Blood Moon Pack?" He asked.

I looked at our hands. I liked the way it felt. "Too much." I said. I wanted to make my dramatic exit right then but I wanted to hold his hand a bit more.
