today is new years eve and every year since they met val and her family the all always spent it at her house. it was her family and her friends families too. they all enjoyed being with each other on this day. and greatful that the sanchez family shared their home on this day.

there was food, music and more food which was chris and jade's favorite part. and games too this year val's mom brought giant uno cause she new how much she loved playing with her friends. this year nate and his family came and so did madi and laura. it was also the first year matt and isabel spent as a couple on this day and of course chris and val too.

the group of friends went up to the loft to play a few games while the younger kids stayed down stairs playing games mary lou brought for them. and the parents in the kitchen talking with each other and drinks.

"CHRIS WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!" matt yelled looking at chris across from him. "what?" chris acted clueless. "you knew i wanted that one." matt sighed. "noze you lose kid." chris said grabbing his card from nick. "fuck you!" matt rolled his eyes. "and you see why we don't play monopoly." jade tilted her head to whisper in madi's ear. madi just laughed and shook her head. "literally like someone is always fighting." nick rolls his eyes. "and by someone he means matt and chris." isabel looked over at madi. "whatever can you stop yappin and play." chris made his move mocking them as the talked.

"ok it's my turn." jay picked the dice up and rolled it. "OH HELL YEAH DOULE BABY!" jade cheered and moved her piece. "another double please." she whispered while shook the dice and blew into her hand. "careful jay you keep wishing for doubles you're going to be in jail." val pointed out. "oh man." jade sighed looking as the second dice didn't match as a three but a one. "give me my money." nate put his hand out. jade just rolled her eyes. "you win this time nathan." handing nate the money for landing on his property.

the group continued playing with a few agreements coming from the three brothers. and laughs too from seeing how defeated jade looked everytime she lost money. "guys my mom says it's time for the count down." alex val's little brother comes up. "ok we're coming." val looked at him and smiled. he turned and walked back down and everyone followed soon after. when they made down mary lou and jackie val's mom handed their drinks which was just sprinkling cider. "geez i can't wait til i can get real alcohol." jade rolled her eyes holding up her cup. everyone turned to look her with confused faces. "you don't even like alcohol jay." nick said. "i was just kidding but wine i'll take any day." she smiled. "isn't that still alcohol?" chris said from next to val. "yeah but it's the good stuff." everyone just shook their hands and laughed.

"guys count down is starting!" val's mom shouted. everyone getting ready matt pulled isabel closer from behind and wrapping his arm around her. "OKAY READY!" val's dad yelled.

"FOUR!"

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!" everyone yelled together.

everyone that had a new years kiss grabbed that person and kissed them. matt quickly turned isabel around and smiled pulling her into a kiss. he pulled away from her and rested his head on hers. "happy new years baby." he mumbled enough for her to hear. isabel smiled looking into his eyes. "happy new year baby." she put her hands on either side of his face and pulling him in for another kiss with more passion. they both pull away at the same time smiling at each other. "i love you lu." matt said as he put his hands on top of hers. "i love you too matt." she gave him a quick kiss.
