"Fine I won't kill him." I say to Esme, as we walk back to the town, on our way to see Angel. "But do you serouisly trusting him?" I ask over my shouder with a frown. She's walking a few steps behind me, Delja and Damiao are a few feet away in a deep conversation. "I think I do." She says slowly. "You think?" I ask, passing a group of kids playing. "Ainsley. I stay out of your and Delja's business. Can you stay out of mine?" She says annoyed. "I'll stay out of it when you're not with a bloody pirate!" I retort. She sighs. "You're being unnecessarily stubborn." She states.

"Good. At least I'm doing that part of the job right." I say quietly. We reach Angel's door. And I give a knock, she opens it she smiles at me then she looks at the rest of the group, she starts to cry. "Damiao." She calls breathlessly. "Hello, mama." He answers softly. Esme brows shoot up in surprise, but she quickly relaxes her face. "How did you two get back? Casimero had you captured." She says searching our faces for answers. "I escaped, but a stranger helped me to a secret beach. Damiao found me after that." Esme Explains. Damiao clenches his jaw when Esme mentions the stranger. Sore spot there.

"Come on in." She beckons for us to enter. And so we do, but I wait until Damiao passes me. "You didn't tell her about your mother?" I ask softly. He stops to look at me. "There wasn't time." He answers and leaves me alone outside. Well, isn't that a sight, they love each other, yet they keep secrets hidden.

We walked back to the beach after a few hours at Angel's, we finally made a plan to stop Casimero, now it's all about timing. Damiao stayed a bit longer to talk to his mother, but is now back with us. "Everything alright?" Esme asks, as he sits down besides her. I'm walking next to Delja along the small waves. "Almost." He says, brushing off the sand off his hands. "Ainsley." Delja warns. I turn back to look at her. "What?" I ask frowning. "Stay out of it." She says sternly. "I'm walking with yoou, aren't I?" I say annoyed. What is it with everyone? I AM MINDING MY OWN BUSINESS! "You're helping no one with that temper of yours." She says, with a sigh. "I'm fine." I say, raking my fingers through my hair. Bloody hell why are these women so danm sensetive today?

"If you want this plan to work, then clean up your act." She says, walking slightly faster. As I was about to walkafter her, a bird's screech makes me turn to the water. A white bird flies low  over the water towards Esme and Damiao. He holds out his arm, and it lands on it easily. Damiao takes his free hand and removes something of one of it's legs. Then the bird flies away.

Esme and Damiao reads the piece of parchment then looks up at me. "What?" I ask unsure. "We have to return to Isla Maldita. They have my crew... and a man who my sister needs alive." He answers lowly.
