They got her. They got her. They got her. They got her.
I brush my fingers through my hair, hard. I should have never trusted that danm pirate. What the hell was I thinking? "I will kill them all! if they so much as touch her!" I growl. Walking in circles.
They will die.
"Ainsley." Delja whispers. I look at her she's sitting on my chair, her colly hair in a low-messy bun. Concern and worry is painted all over face. "They have to die!" I say brokenly, breaking down in front of her, her hands are instantly cupping my face. "Carli said that it was a surprised attack. He wasn't in on it at all! He was helpless. If he reacted in any way he would've been killed, then Esme would be really doomed." She explains. Carli is one of Delja's mer-sisters, who sneaks into the cave to spy. "He can't let her..." I trail off. "He won't." She reassures.
I drop my face onto her lap and I start to cry, her fingers softly brushing through my hair. She hums softly as my tears and cries carry on.

"She was captured... by Casimero Ladron." I say, my swollen eyes are slowly recovering from the hours of crying. The crowd gasps. "I know she isn't much to you. But... will you join me for war?" I ask my voice booming over the crowd. They start to speak to each other, some argueing some in hushed tones. As I give them a few moments, I squeze the hand I'm holding. Delja kisses my shoulder. She is my forever anchor, I'm only capable of standing right now because of her.
The crowd stops. "We will fight with you. Always!" A male voice says somewhere in the crowd. "Hooo Haaa!" The crowd cheers, and I sigh in relief. We got an army now we just need a plan!
