Epilogue

After Dr Robotnik was put under arrest, Sonic and the other Mobians, and Cosmo, were having a picnic with the Thorndyke family, and everyone was enjoying their lunch. Tails: "Wow Ella, this sandwiches are awesome!" Ella: "Thank you, but Amy and Vanilla deserve some of the credit too as they helped me." Vanilla: "And I hope you'll like the cookies I baked too." Knuckles: "Of course, in fact I love them, these cookies go well with my grapes." Amy: "You think anything goes well with grapes." Knuckles: "Well of course I do, cause they do." Cream: "Want some lemonade Cheese?, I'm sure you're thirsty." Cheese: "Chao, Chao." said Cheese, as he gets some lemonade from Cream. Sonic: "It's crazy... to think that a few months ago... Tails and I were all alone... but now we have a lot of friends and a family." Tails: "Yeah... I guess this could be like our happy ending." Chuck: "And you deserve it after saving the city and the earth from Dr Robotnik many times before." Chris: "Speaking of which... I hope he stays in prison..." Cosmo: "Don't worry Chris, G.U.N. will make sure that he won't cause trouble again." Amy: "And even if he does get out, we'll be ready for him." Knuckles: "You got that right." Tails: "And without the Master Emerald or the Chaos emeralds, he can't really do much with his machines." Chris: "Yeah... I guess you're right... though I am sorry that you're stuck here now..." Sonic: "Don't worry about it, at least we made a new home here." Vanilla: "Very true, and a nice family to live with too." Cream: "Yeah, and you're like a big brother to me too." Chris: "Really?, thanks Cream, I kinda see you as a little sister too." said Chris, which made Cream smile and gave the boy a big hug, which he of course returned to her. Mr Tanaka: "Master Chris, I just got word that Mr and Mrs Thorndyke will come home tonight in time for dinner." Chris: "Really?, that's great news... man... before you guys showed up... I felt like I could never have any friends... but look at me now... I got the coolest friends in the whole world... no, the coolest friends in the whole galaxy." Sonic: "We could say the same thing about you, and let me tell you, I've never been so happy in my whole life." Chris: "Me neither... thanks Sonic... for everything..." said Chris, before he gave Sonic a hug that the hedgehog returned. Suddenly, the radio that was playing some music started to make a report that some bank robbers that stole some super fast cars have robbed a bank and were giving even Sam Speed some trouble. Sonic: "Looks like even though Eggman is out of the picture, there are still some villains causing trouble here..." Tails: "Yeah... I guess so..." Sonic: "Stay right here everyone, I won't be gone for long... just gotta take care of this." Shadow: "Well don't try doing it without me, after all, I promised Maria I would protect the innocent, and that's what I'm gonna do." Sonic: "Alright then, just try to keep up with me." Shadow: "Ha!, I believe it's you who should need to catch up with me." Sonic: "We'll see about that... ready... set... go!" said Sonic, before he and Shadow zoom away from the picnic and off to find and stop the bank robbers, while the others were left behind. Tails: "Guess a hero's job is never really done for very long." Cosmo: "Well at least it would give us something to do during the day." Knuckles: "Yup." Tails: "Race ya to the X-Tornado." Amy: "You're on." said Amy, before she, Knuckles and Tails raced off to pick up the X-Tornado so they can join Sonic in the action. Cream: "Come on Cheese, they might need our help." Cheese: "Chao, Chao." Cosmo: "Well there's no way I'm missing this." Chris: "Me neither, it's time I do something to help you guys out." Vanilla: "Don't worry about that Chris, you've been a big help to us in more ways than one, after all, we would have never gotten a home or a family here without you and everyone here." Chris: "Yeah... but still... I'm not gonna just standby and just watch from the distance... it's time I help Sonic." Chuck: "Well it's a good thing I invented this." said Chuck, before showing what looked like a robotic suit. Chris: "What is that?" Chuck: "It's an exosuit that I built to protect you in case you get captured again and be able to defend yourself... I call it the Ermal suit." Chris: "Wow... thanks grandpa!" said Chris, before he puts on the suit, and he begins to fly up into the air and follows Sonic and Shadow. Sonic: "Chris?!, is that you?" Chris: "Yeah, now we can protect the city together." Sonic: "Alright then, let's go!" said Sonic, as he, Shadow and Chris zoom off to once again protect the city and the planet Earth, and that there is where this story comes to a close.
