It's Good To Be Bad

Testing strength

I woke up before the rest of the Akatsuki did. I managed to find my way to the kitchen and made a simple breakfast with whatever I could find.

I personally don't know if Sasori and kakuzu even eats food.

Just as I finished setting up the table, one by one, people started filling the room wondering where this sweet aroma was coming from. As expected Sasori and kakuzu was nowhere to be found.

"Did you make this, Lady Juno?" Deidara asked. Everyone turned to look at me.

I nodded my head.

"It is my way of thanks. My purpose is to fulfill the needs of others." I took a step back and bowed slightly, "Please, sit and enjoy." 

Once everyone was finished eating, I cleaned the dishes. Pein remained seated while the others left.

"Pick someone to spar against. I want to see what you are capable of. The training grounds are the farthest down the hall to the right." He then got up and left.

Who should I fight? Maybe Itachi so I can enhance my genjutsu, or maybe Kisame to work on my swordsmanship. Hmm. I guess Sasori will do. I never really fought with puppets before.

All members lined up in the training area waiting to see me fight. Pein stood in the middle with Konan beside him.

"I pick Sasori!" I exclaimed happily at my choice.

"Yes, nice choice. Sasori verses Lady Juno of the Sound. Begin!"
Pein announced for us to start.

Sasori walked a few feet in front of me, we bowed then got into our battle stances. In a split second his tail shot out towards me with it's tip stained in purple. Quickly, I dodged the attack backing up to put distance between us.

I did a clone jutsu to distract him while I thought off a plan to attack him head on. No doubt that puppet exterior of his is rigged with extensive amounts of traps and gadgets, I had to think of a way to get past it.

I decided to use my clone to sneak underground . I made another clone who threw kunais with bombs attached and did a whole lotta jutsus. 

Once directly under Sasori, my clone's arm turn into snakes grabbing onto his ankle. The other hand glowing blue as the chakra around it made it razor sharp.

Sasori hit both my clones with numerous senbon needles, expelled from his mouth, making them poof away.

Having enough, I did a water justu hoping to distract him long enough to do a physical attack. Concentrating my chakra, I built up the strength to give a good punch. Just as the water leveled out, I lunged at him aiming for the big mask on his back. With such speed he didn't have time to react and counterattack. He got pushed to the back wall and the mask now has a huge crack.

"Interesting." Announced Kisame as I was even able to get a scratch on him.

Angrily, Sasori positioned himself upright now aiming his poisoned tipped tail at me. I was too slow in making hand signs that his tail pierced right through my left forearm. I clutched it tightly already feeling the poison spread. Little by little I started to feel numbness within my arm.

"Damn it." I took my attention off my throbbing arm to Sasori, who again, was extending his tail out to me. I jumped out the way feeling slightly exhausted. 

Building up strength, I jumped in the air just as his tail came at me, before landing I summoned a chakra enforced sword slicing the tip of his tail off. I ran along it coming up to his body and used my sword to penetrate through his puppets head. I jumped off before it exploded. I had attached a paper bomb to the sword as I was running.

Sasori got knocked up into the air from the explosion hitting the ceiling then fell with a loud thud. His puppets arms were all dismembered and charred. I dropped to my knees completely overwhelmed. My chakra was nearly drained.

"Stop!" Pein proclaimed seeing Sasori's condition, "Konan, assist Juno."

Konan rushed to me helping me up.As I swung my good arm around her neck, she handed me a small bottle. 

"It's the antidote. It should take a few minutes for it to reach your nervous system." I nodded swallowing the thick liquid.

 Pein glanced at me with no expression but his eyes told me he was impressed.
