It's Good To Be Bad

I almost didn't recognize him. His purple long tongue wagging from his mouth; seemed so unreal that he was a traitor. My mind was changed completely.

This life of treachery and grief isn't what i was born to endure. I spoke to Naruto who insisted on joining his team, long forgotten about his former mate. Hesitantly i agree to his proposal, seeing there was nothing new to come of my life. After a few seasons passed, Naruto invited me to have lunch by the academy tree; which wielded a lonely swing. We ate our bento boxes in silence.

"Do you enjoy being here... with me?" Naruto asked after awhile, looking away at the academy building. Taken back, i almost choked on my rice ball.

I nodded not saying a word that would otherwise manipulate the mood. Suddenly a felt a soft yet firm hand grasp mine. I looked to see Naruto starting hard into my eyes. His face was stern and unmoved.

"Juno...I must ask..." He stuttered a few times I guess picking up the nerve to ask his pending question, "When I become Hokage, will you... marry me?"

I jumped up then flabbergasted, letting go of his sweating hand. Why would he ask such a thing at such a young age. Here, he barley knew a thing about me beside my affiliations and name yet was content on my being by his side til death. How could i refuse such a request.

"Naruto...." I started not knowing exactly what should be said, "despite the way our paths have crossed, and the numerous uncalled for confrontations. I think its fair...for me... to accept your hand in marriage. After all, we made tremendous progress in our uncanny relationship." I smiled bright as his face light up.

we grabbed each other close in a warm embrace. We exchanged kisses, feeling like the universal had set a new view of our lives.

In the fall a year or two later, Naruto and i wed in the village's chapel. He wore a long cloak only known to the kages of konoha. I wore a nice long white dress with specks of green. My hair designed like ancient geisha's. Not alot of people showed up but i didn't mind.

It was a year later that i became pregnant with our first child. Naruto was so excited he announced it nation wide. I urged him to keep quiet as a few of his friends weren't keen on the idea of of getting together in the first place.

It was time to give birth, I was out searching through one of Orochimaru's hideout when it all went down. I was against rules for me to be out the village but i needed some fresh air of the past.

I cleared a experiment table and began pushing. with the final push my baby was free, i peeped over and discovered it was a girl. I held her tight in my arms.

My arms began to feel weak and my eye lids numb. My breathes were quicker and it started getting hard to breath. All i felt was a hard rush of liquid on my legs, it took to much energy to look.

"I'll name you.... Faith."

Was my final sentence as my eyes closed completely; inability to reopen. I swore I heard footsteps as i took one last gasp.
