Annabeth navigates through her feelings for Percy.
Notes:
We are almost there, this chapter is all about acceptation, revelation and apologies...Annabeth has to put her pride on the side and accept the truth for what it is.
I know it's been a while since I last posted, it's only because I wasn't finished with some modifications. The next upload will take a few days too, I haven't finished drafting parts of it. I really hope you like the story so far, your comments have deeply warmed my heart.
As always, don't forget to comment or show some love <3, I can't describe how much it means to read your interactions.

Chapter Text
"Get your ass back in here or else!" He threatened after she dropped some of the boys at the party. His frame had barely walked a meter before noticing she wasn't following behind. "Come on Chase" Her friends would see, everybody would see if she dared enter with him. Her conscience wouldn't let her brave the door by his side, nor did it leave her a choice other than stay behind. Her eyes shut down, tightening her grip on the wheel, her legs felt as wobbly as her mind. Tip toeing on ideas she shouldn't desire.
"I have to find a parking spot" She had found the lamest excuse in the book; her eyes couldn't meet him. Her bottom lip hurt from her biting.
"I don't see why this one doesn't work" He ran to her passenger seat before she could drive off in the distance. His unnerving way of understanding her next move, his palm rested on her tight as she moved the car away from the spot and further into the street. Heat radiated from his skin to her cheeks, a swift move to travel the car away from familiar eyes.
"No panties I hope" He smiled as soon as they were far enough for people not to notice her in any unexpected company. Annabeth parked the Mercedes to a forgotten street nearby. The house was only a few minutes by foot, he could manage. Her gaze followed his words, his hair was still a mess, his skin all too bright in the depts of the night. Her heart felt at ease, where nobody was watching, she could stop hiding.
"Or else I'll regret it?" With a smirk, she turned the car's engine off. Her keys jingled in the silence of her tentation. Her desire hadn't ceased, seeing him wearing the orange school jacket made her insides tingle. His attention was entirely too focused on her. She wasn't going to back down now. Instinctively, her shoulders turned to him, almost pressed to his side, barely touching his arm.
"Let's see how wise you are then" His hand slid inside her jeans to find her soaked. His face shook in amusement. "You really never listen" He removed his fingers to lick her juices off from his skin. Her body shivered. Her eyes traced his features, the clenching of his jaw, and his mouth.
"How's winning your first game of the season?" She settled on his green eyes.
"Don't change the subject" He approached to her face; her heart was beating out of her chest. He was going to end her torment, kiss her finally. Pop. It never came, his face only twitched, he had opened the door for her. "Let's go Princess." His body moved away to his own door. Her flutters shut down. She needed to get a grip. If he had had no intention of kissing her, why was he insisting on her presence to their party? Why was she here again? He looked over to check if she was following. She breathed out...this was going to be torture...
"Finally!" She heard Thalia as they entered the house party. Their usual crew was shortened, Hazel couldn't make it because of her parents, Clarisse's had a short family trip to New York to visit her brothers, and Rachel and her mother had taken tickets to a new show in town. Relieved, Annabeth had less worries on her mind, less lies to come up with.
