It's not that she meant to squirm so much, it's just that this fucking plug was buried so deep in her ass that it was nearly impossible to find a position where it didn't spark and stimulate every single one of her nerve endings.

She really wanted to focus on their date, it was their 2-month anniversary, but she just couldn't think about anything aside from what was going on between her legs. The boy across from her wasn't making it any easier, because he looked so damn delectable in his white collared button down and soft black sweater, which framed his strong shoulders perfectly. His rings were exaggerating every vein in his powerful hands and his mischievous eyes would dance every time she shifted in her seat. And of course, his annoying smirk was just spurring her on further, making her horny and excited and wet at the most inappropriate time.

It really was supposed to be a romantic evening, and it would have been if it weren't for this sole delicious fact. They had been exploring this part of their relationship a lot recently, delving further ever since Prom had opened the door for it. Tonight, was the night they planned on going all the way, and it was impossible to relax, when she knew it was all just preamble for the main event coming later.

She held Percy's hand across the table, listening to him talk about one of the kids he taught on Saturday mornings, who finally mastered a new skating trick that he'd been trying to teach them for the past couple days. When he spoke like this, all excited and his face alight, she actually could put her arousal aside for just a moment.

When she stared at him, thinking about how kind and good he was, all that surfaced to the forefront of her brain were three little words that she had been dying to say for over a month now.

She was pretty sure that she had been in love with him longer than that, before they had even started dating probably, but the realization had only hit her a few weeks ago.

It was hard to pinpoint the exact day that it happened. There were a lot of little, big things that he did all the time which made her fall more and more in love. Like whenever she walked around his house, she would find her name scrawled on post-it notes, or little doodles of her face, and they literally looked like shit, he did not have a single artistic bone in his body, but the idea that he was subconsciously thinking of her, even when she wasn't around, made warmth spread through her whole body.

Her love built up gradually, like a balloon in her chest, slowly inflating and growing with every sweet gesture and endearing joke, until it felt like it would explode out of her if she didn't utter those words. If she had to choose the major moments, when her feelings for him became abundantly clear, there were three that came to mind.

The first was not very long into their relationship. A few days after their first date, Percy had been watching her get frustrated with her hair while they were out shopping for some new clothes, brushing it impatiently out of her face because her bun couldn't contain it on all on the top of her head.

"Hey Beth, why don't you wear it in braids anymore?" he asked as she readjusted her hair tie for the fifth time in as so many minutes.

She looked over at him, sliding her hand back into his when she was done playing with her strands and shrugged, "I can't do them very well on myself. I can braid other people's hair, but it's hard doing my own, my arms always get tired before I can finish because I have so much of it. Piper used to do it for me in the mornings before school, but now I just throw it in a ponytail and pray."

He nodded and swung their arms a little harder as they walked through the mall, but he said nothing more about it. She had completely forgotten about the conversation until a few days later.

Percy was on the couch, watching a new show on Netflix, and Annabeth was sitting on the floor between his legs, reading a book, her head leaning against his thigh. He started to comb his fingers through her hair, and her eyes fluttered shut, peace washing over her at the soft pull on her locks and the light scratch and massage against her scalp. It took her a long moment before she realized that he wasn't just untangling her hair, she could feel him twisting it with purpose.
