Bisperas ng pasko pero mainit ang ulo ko. Kanina ko pa kinakalma ang sarili kaya sumama ako kay Kudos papunta kay na Risk dahil baka makasagot na naman ako nang pabalang sa nanay ko.

Gusto ko rin tanungin kung gaano ba katagal ang operation, kung complicated o delikado ba 'yon pero ibang tanong ang lumabas sa bibig ko. "Are you the one who will perform the surgery?"
"Not entirely. I have other surgeons by my side, so there's no need to worry."
Bigla akong napanguso at napatingin sa pinto kasi baka nakasunod na pala sa akin si Master. Hininaan ko pa lalo ang boses ko. "Bakit ako mag-aalala? Alam ko namang kaya mo 'yan."
"What?"
"Wala. I said, I know you’ll do well."
Hindi ko nakikita ang mukha niya pero bakit pakiramdam ko nakangiti siya? "Thanks. I'll call you later."
