It had been almoust a week since Sunshine had met the rogues and she'd been doing pretty well at keeping them a secret. She'd told Cumulas and Cirrus that she'd left to find somewhere quite that night, since they'd been taking a few shots in the bar, and she'd claimed to have started to get a headache from the noise. Luckily, they'd believed her and she'd been able to continue with her duties as usual. Or so she though.

"There's something going on with you. I can feel it." Copia stated, a serious look on his face. He'd called her into his office to talk and she'd though it would just be about their next tour or her vocals or something. But, instead, it was because he'd caught on. "You may be hiding it very well physically, but I can feel your emotional pattern waver every time someone brings up...that night. The night at the bar, when the other two ghoulette's called us frantically and wouldn't shut up about how they weren't sure where you were."

Sunshine swallowed hard, panik beginning to creep in. He knew, of course he knew. "I just needed some peace and quiet. The alcohol was starting to make my head spin." She chuckled slightly, trying to lighten the mood, but her statement had only seemed to make him more suspicious.

"I think we both know, Sunshine, that it takes ghouls much longer to process Earthly alcohol and start to feel its effects than you claim it did. We got their call only half an hour after their message telling us that the three of you had arrived." His eyes narrowed. "And you're not a very heavy drinker anyway. The amount you supposedly took that night wouldn't have effected you even if it had somehow kicked in so quickly."

She could feel the sweat on her forehead and, the more she tryed to slow her breathing, the worse it got.

Copia was her Papa. She was bonded to him and, consequently, he knew just how to tease the truth out of her. He knew exactly which buttons to push to make her confess, and he was using all the tricks he had in that moment.

Had Bismuth not put her in that memoryless state, she would have remembered Copia's access to her emotions and how easily he could make her fold. In his attempts to get the complete and unbiased truth out of her, he had made her feed him her dishonest honesty, made her tell him a truth that could only be true if she had remembered who exactly she was supposed to keep it from and realized that he wasn't going to be a problem.

But he was. He was a problem she wouldn't be able to fix. No amount of convincing or persuading would get him to let her go. She would be stuck in that office with him untill the truth came out.

And it did.

The cell door slammed shut, leaving her huddled in the corner, leaning on the bed. Copia was staring down at her, a look of shame and disappointment on his face, "You should have known that you couldn't keep them from us...You are one of my most loyal ghouls, I expected better than this. I expected better from you."

Sunshine let out a tiny whimper, her arms still wrapped around her head and her eyes shut tight. She had known, but the act was always so much worse than the threat.

"You will be staying here for the rest of the night. You will tell us everything else that you know about them tomorrow. Maybe by then, you will have remembered who you belong to."

He turned and stormed out of the dungeons. She was only being kept on the first floor so, in theory, she knew what she'd done hadn't been too bad. The first floor was only ever used for those who simply needed a bit of discipline.

But her Papa's tone, his words, the way she'd known that the rest of the pack had felt the anger that had burned through him when she'd revealed what she'd been hiding, it tore her apart and she sobbed as the silence of the dungeon lulled her to sleep. The sooner she was asleep, the better. She could atleast escape from the consequences of her discovered secret then, although it was inevitable that they would just make waking up that little bit worse.
