*savannah's pov*
after talking with jack about my last relationship he looked at me with such sad eyes. he hugged me so much and made sure to make me feel better. i never thought id open to someone about that because of how much damage it caused me. he moved to the other side of my bed and laid back as i turned on a movie. "do you want popcorn?" i said looking back and jack as i was getting up. he smiled and nodded quickly. i laughed and walked out.
i went to the kitchen and grabbed popcorn from the pantry, then i put it in the microwave as i wait i turned to look at the living room to see nicole and sammy knocked out. i walked over to them and placed a blanket over them. since i had my phone in my pocket i took a picture of them and smiled. sammy's arm was wrapped over her while she was asleep on his chest. i ran over to the kitchen when i saw the timer almost going off. i got there in time before it made a noise so it didn't wake them up.
i put the popcorn in a bowl and grabbed another soda and water for us. i walked into my room, i see jack with his phone pointing towards me, as i had my cup of water in my mouth so i could hold it, soda in one hand and bowl in the other. i stood there and laughed, "if i wanted to make it in trip, this is what i had to do." i laugh as jack starts to laugh to and saves the video. i get in my bed and handed him his soda and put the bowl in between us.
"can i post this?" he says as he shows me. i laughed and nodded. i can't believe he's already posting about me.. he looks over at me, "what's your instagram so i can tag you." he says while handing me his phone. i type in 'savmontano' and hit the follow button. i pull my phone out of my pocket and followed him back. he was verified and had over 8 million followers.. i only have 1.5 million.. once he posted it i went to check it out and he captioned it, "look how cute she is." i looked at him and smiled.
i liked it and commented 'thanks for helping me 🙄' i laughed and so did he. since my phone was out i decided to show him the picture i took of nicole and sammy. "look how cute they are." i said smiling. "i've never seen sam this way, he talked about her the whole way back home. he even told johnson that he had to meet her asap. he also told johnson about you. he's really excited to meet the two of you." he said smiling.
as i was going to turn off my phone, my notifications became flooded with messages and followings. i looked over at jack, "looks like my fans really liked you." he smiled proudly. i turned my phone of and played the movie we were watching. soon enough i found myself laying my head on jacks shoulder. i tilted my head up a little to see him smiling at me. he had the cutest smile ever, he's just perfect.
i told myself i needed a break from a relationship but he might be an exception. i looked back to the tv and continued watching. i might be overthinking this, maybe jack is just a nice guy and treats every girl the same. maybe after this he'll do it to someone else. i shook those thoughts out and just sighed. "hey what's wrong?" jack said trying to look at my face. maybe i should just be straightforward. "i was just thinking.. are you like this to every new girl you meet? like tell her nice things and the move on to the next?" i said unsure.
he looks at me a shakes his head quickly, "no savannah, i haven't been this close to a girl in forever. i know how to treat girls with respect because i grew up with two older sisters. you are the first girl i've gotten to know since sophomore year in high school." he said. i sighed i shouldn't have asked im making this into a big deal.. he did tell me we were the same age. so basically it had been four years since that happened.
"i'm sorry to ask jack, i've just always felt unsure about guys since my last relationship." i said softly. "i plan to change that savannah. whether it's being your friend or something more in the future." he said holding up my chin. i smiled at him and he places a soft kiss on my forehead.
once the movie was over i looked to see jack fell asleep. i chuckled and decided to take a nap too. i closed my eyes and started to get comfortable until i felt a pair of arms wrapped around me. i flinched just a little but then realized i've never felt this safe before so i let him do it. we both fell asleep, which turned into a 2 hour nap. that's until i hear a knock at the door and see nicole walk in. i tapped jacks shoulder so see if he'd wake up. "sorry to bother your nap guys, but we're hungry let's go out to eat." nicole says smiling.
i look at jack and he nods and start to get up to stretch. i look back at nicole and she's smiling so hard at me. i get up to and put my shoes on. jack fixes his hair and puts his shoes on too. "you make a good pillow" he says chuckling. i laughed and rolled my eyes playfully. i went to my closet to get a hoodie to pull over. once i throw it on jack opens the door for me to leave and he follows behind.
he goes over to sam and they start talking while nicole looks at me still smirking. "what was all that?!" she said excitedly. "nothing we just fell asleep watching a movie." i said smiling thinking about the conversation we had. i might be falling for this guy.
"well, since jack and i brought our car we'll just meet you guys at the restaurant." sam said smiling. we both nodded and nicole looked at me with pleading eyes, basically trying to say i'm driving. i groan and grabbed my keys. we followed behind them and got into my car. everytime nicole gets in my car she connects her phone to aux even though we listen to same people.
"i told jack about julian.." i said softly as i pull out of the parking garage. she looks at me with wide eyes. "and how do you feel? i didn't expect you to open up so quick," she said looking over at me to make sure i wasn't upset. "i didn't either but nicole something about jack makes me feel less Clueless about how i feel about guys. i spent my whole relationship Clueless thinking he loved me when he didn't. but with jack i feel the opposite he makes me feel safe and secure. he reassures me and makes me feel wanted." i said softly as i feel a tear slip my eye.
nicole puts her hand over my had that was laying on my thigh. "i love that you feel this way Savs, i've waited to hear this come from you for so long. i personally need to get to know jack before i allow him to make a move." she chuckles. i nod and smiled at her. once we made it to Cheesecake factory which was nicole's idea. i see the guys park so i decide to park next to them. i watched as they got out and ran to each of our door to open it. i smiled at jack and thanked him. he mouthed 'my pleasure' i giggled and continued walking. then i look down at my outfit, im so not dressed to be here.
we make our way inside and surprisingly they sat us quick. i start to get warm so i take my hoodie off to see jack was already staring at me, i smiled slightly to him and just smiled. once the waiter came he took out drink order and our meals too.
we spent the rest of the night getting to know each other better and ate our food.
