*savannah's pov*
i help jack take the things to my car, once everything was in we went to Stephanie's hotel. i texted him i was here and she made her way down. once i saw her i jumped out the car and hugged her tightly. stephanie was like the big sister to both nicole and i.
she knew some of my problems but not all because she had enough going on with her parents getting a divorce. she stayed strong and was always there for us when we needed her.
"steph!!! i've missed you so much!!!" i said still hugging her. "i've missed you too savs!! i'm still hurt you guys decided to move down here but i'm still very proud of both of you!" she smiles. we start walking back to my car and jack steps out from the passenger seat, "steph this is Jack my boyfriend." i said smiling big.
"hi nice to you meet you stephanie! i've heard nothing but good things about you." jack says gesturing his hand to shake hers. she smiles and brings him into a hug. "sorry i'm a hugger" she laughs. he chuckles and nods. "why don't you sit up here, i don't mind sitting in the back." he says smiling while holding the door open. she looks at me and mouthed 'he's a keeper wow!' i giggled and got back in the drivers seat.
we all talked and laughed about stories stephanie and i had. jack was listening and laughing as well, he would talk too but he didn't know how to relate about the girl parts lol. once we made it to the boys house, we all get out and started bring in the bags we had.
after about two and half hours we finally finished decorating nicole loves the color pink so it looks like barbie threw up in the boys house. jack was even laughing the whole time thinking about how there was so much pink.
we did come to the conclusion that we'd surprise nicole at lunch because she'd expect it less. it's funny because stephanie texted her happy birthday and nicole was sending crying emojis wishing she was here. also nicole and i have this rule since we were little that for our birthdays since we celebrate it together every year since we've met, that a text message is not allowed. to show more love we say it in person.
besides that, we finally made it to the restaurant and we waited inside my car until we sam pull up. he picked up johnson and julia. jack and i get out the car telling stephanie to wait a little bit. once they walk to our car i say happy birthday nicole hugging her tightly. saying a few kind words to her causing her to tear up. jack hugs her to wishing her a happy birthday. "okay nicole i'm going to give you one of your gifts now you can open the rest after dinner." i said to her.
"okay mom." she says giggling. "okay close your eyes." i said softly, as she does so. i open the door gesturing for stephanie to slowly get out. once she's outside, i count down to three, once i do nicole opens her eyes and screams.
