chapter forty

*savannah's pov*

the last three days have been hectic. for starters, we did end up partying and clubbing for three nights in a row. Neels and i were together and it felt nice to have someone vibe with you and enjoy each other's presence. after kelsey posted that video on her story, i did get some hate from fans about moving on and crap.

sam and johnson both flooded my phone asking if i was okay and if i knew the guy and what the deal was. they flew in yesterday and wanted to talk but i didn't have time. they also didn't like that i was going out constantly but i mean they don't really have a say.. as for nicole she hasn't reached out at all. i did notice jack text me a couple times but i ignored them.

the morning after neels stayed the night we ate breakfast and started to get to know each other. he's actually pretty chill and says he doesn't know if he's looking to get into a relationship and i told him i felt the same. we just enjoyed being with each other as friends. we haven't done anything together and i respect him for that.

it's currently November 10th, 10:30 am. it's officially my birthday and im slightly hungover. after the club last night we all went our separate ways i came home so i could get some rest.

once i was fully ready for the day i was walking down the stairs when i hear the doorbell ring. i didn't order anything so not sure who it could be. i went down to the first floor to open it to see it was neels, stas, kelsey and carter. they had a small cake, balloons and gifts.

"happy birthday!!!" they all yelled. i was in shock i froze. neels hugged me tightly and picked me up a little. "omg thank you guys!!! ahhh i love you all!!" i said hugging each of them. "21 looking good mama" carter said. i chuckled and thanked him.

"okay girly we came to stop by quick! we know you have plans to see your friends and parents so we'll just see you later! don't forget to dress cute tonight!!" stas said kissing my cheek and hugging me.

"you guys are amazing thank you again!! i'll see you guys later!" i said. they all gathered out and neels hugged me again one last time. "open my gift when you're getting ready tonight." he said smiling. i gasped which made him laugh.

i said bye and shut the door, i walked back upstairs and saw my phone was blowing up. first i noticed my mom called. so i called her back.

"ahhh mija!!! happy birthday mi princesa linda!!" she shouted. i chuckled. "happy birthday savannah!! don't celebrate too hard tonight!" i heard my dad say. "thank you! can't promise that but i'll try!" i laughed.

"what are your plans mija? i hate that we won't be able to celebrate with you today!" she said. they are actually going out of town and going back down to the hometown since they are having a friends reunion.

"it's okay mom! we can always celebrate when you guys come back! well, the boys texted me saying they wanted to have lunch so i'm getting ready to head over to pick them up and then see where it goes from there. stas is throwing me a party at her house later tonight and that's pretty much it." i said. "well sounds like you're busy! has nicole or jack texted you?" she asked.

"i actually haven't checked my phone but i highly doubt it." i chuckled. we continued talking for a little bit until she had to go. i grabbed my keys and purse and headed to my garage.

i backed out the garage and headed over to pick up johnson first. they live pretty close to each other which is good. once i made it to johnson's house i honked twice, i would text him but he does this to me all the time. i started scrolling through my phone while i waited for him. i started answering back to as many people as i could.

when i looked up i see johnson walking out with jack. johnson mouthed im sorry. oh great. he gets into the passenger seat and whispers "i'm sorry" i laughed and just shrugged. "ahhh happy birthday savannah!! finally you can legally drink!!!" johnson said shaking my arm.
