chapter seventeen

*jack's pov*

i feel bad that savannah is having to go through this. i never thought madison would come back to spite me, i broke up with her because everything she did to me. after i posted my response tons of people began attacking me for what i did which i understand because i know it was wrong. but at the same time people blamed madison for throwing herself at me.

savs had been thinking about talking to her but i told her to hold off on that. i don't want this to blow up more because madison will twist her words. i don't want anything to happen to savs or anything to her career.

since our relationship and life is public it makes it hard to avoid problems. we both talked about how we have to be careful with anything we say because people make things up and cause more drama.

but besides that savannah is currently at work she told me she'd be coming over right after. she was sad saying her goodbyes to stephanie but they seemed to have convinced all of us to take a vacation together. they want to go sometime in September.

currently johnson and i are working on some music. (a/n: i have a feeling they will be dropping music before their 2024 tour) it's been in the works for some time now. we continued to make music for a couple hours until johnson spoke up.

"yo g let's go grab something to eat." he said. "yea dude im starving." i said rubbing my stomach while laughing. he laughed and we both got up. we decided on chick-fil-a. we got in my car and drove there. "how are things with you and savs?" johnson says. we were actually doing good it's been already a week and some days since. "we're doing great. i still apologize almost everyday but savs tells me stop." i said chuckling.

"i like you guys together, i've never seen you like this 
with any of your ex's.. the way you guys instantly connected is insane." johnson said. johnson is probably the only one who saw me at my worst he's always told me to find someone who matches me not someone who is the complete opposite.

"i actually can see a future with her and i know only time will tell but she's truly impacted my life in such a good way. i feel terrible after that one night, i promise to stay true to her, johnson." i said. i can see johnson smiling with the corner of my eye. johnson has hated madison since the beginning, can't blame him now lol.

we finally made it to chick-fil-a and order our usuals and decided to take sam some. once we got our food johnson started stealing fries from sam's saying he wouldn't find out but sam always does. we all fight like brothers and i love that. johnson and i have known each other the longest then we met sam and nate and instantly became good friends.

the drive home went by quick. we got out the car and walked in the house, nate is currently not here and probably won't be back till next week. he's been traveling back to omaha to visit friends and family. "sam foods here" i shout. seconds after i hear him running down the stairs.

i handed out the food and noticed sam glaring at johnson. "dude you ate my fries! give me some of yours to make it fair" he shouts. i laugh and look at johnson shaking his head and walking away. i sighed and gave sam some fries so he wouldn't fuss. he thanked me and walked back upstairs.

i ate while scrolling on instagram to see savs posted a new picture, it was her modeling wearing a Victoria Secret lingerie with angel wings. she looked absolutely stunning. the way her natural curves shows off her body, she's just perfect.

as i was about to like and comment i get a call from her. makes a smile form on my face. "hey baby what's up" i said. "i got to finish early today! i'm on my way now" she says giggling. "aw that's good! johnson and i just finished our lunch but i can go out and buy you something quick if you want?" i said starting to feel bad. "nooo it's okay! i ate not to long ago i just want you to lay down and take a nap with you." she said.

i smiled even more, "that sounds like a great plan to me! drive safe i love you." i said. "i love you too see you in a few minutes." she said. with that i hung up and went throw my trash away. savs and i like to spend quality time together and our favorite thing to do is nap together. we like going to the beach here and there but napping is our go to when we don't have plans.

few minutes go by and she walks in with a big smile. i got up from the couch and walked up to her hugging her and placing a small kiss on her lips. "you look beautiful" i said. she blushed and looked away. "thank you my love" she said kissing my cheek.

"i have some news" she said as she walked over to the couch to take a seat. i followed her, "okay what's up!" i said smiling at her. "i was on the phone with my mom on my way here before calling you, she told me she's flying in for three days! she's coming this friday and leaving monday morning!" she said smiling big.

i've only talked to her mom on my facetime a few times but this will give me the opportunity to show her that i care and love her daughter. "that's great babe! we should plan something's to do so she can explore places!" i said. she smiled and nodded, "she's so excited she's been talking about how she wants to meet you and the boys. but don't worry she's really cool and she's not the type to scare people away." she giggles.

"well i can't wait to meet her too and thank her." i said smiling. "thank her? for what" she said looking at me confused. "for creating such a beautiful and loving person. whom i love a lot." i said hugging her tightly. she chuckles and kisses me.

"you're too cute" she says pinching my cheeks. i laughed and scoop her up. she lets out a soft gasp and starts to laugh. i walked up the stairs carefully and walked into my room. i laid her on the bed, but she got up quickly to change into one of my shirts so she would be comfortable. once she was done she came back to bed and snuggled up next to me.

soon enough we're both asleep. we didn't have much plan for the day so it didn't matter how long we napped. tomorrow is probably going to be a bit busier for me.
