chapter twenty

*savannah's pov*

after what felt like forever we finally made it to PR!! i was so excited that once i remembered madison was here my excitement died down. i didn't want this to affect me because i can't let her walk over me. once we were out the plan we went to get our bags.

jack saw our bags so he grabbed them while i helped him with the smaller bags. we all decided that its best to rent separate cars since we wouldn't always be together. we all want to go to different places but at the same time be with each other. once we made it to the car rental place, jack did the signing and paying for the car and turns out we all got Jeeps.

jack loved Jeeps so he was excited for that. once we all got the keys we headed out and drove to the airbnb. jack had the windows down, shades on and hand on my thigh. meanwhile my hair is flying everywhere i couldn't even put my glasses on because it was controlling the top on my hair from falling my face.

i started to record the view and how good jack looked. he looked over at me and smiled, he grabbed my other hand and pulled it close to his lips and kissed it. i giggled and ended the video, i posted it on my instagram story. "jack i know the trip started rough but i really want to enjoy these days with you." i said softly. jack squeezed my hand, "no matter what happens savs, im here with you and no one else. my love is for you, my mind is set on you. regardless of her being here, i plan to make this trip special for you." he said. i smiled and nodded.

the main reason i fell in love with jack is his way of reassurance. he knew the right things to say and it always made me feel at ease. the rest of the car ride was me singing to Bad Bunny. jack didn't even try he just vibed with me.

as jack pulled into the drive way, i was in awe. the place was beautiful. it was two stories, huge property, it had room for the three cars we rented. we all piled in to the house and just admire how nice it was. we as in everyone but rupp and madison. they had to look for a hotel to stay at. i felt bad but i wasn't gonna feel okay having her in the same place as us.

we all scattered around the house to find our rooms. luckily jack and i got the room with the best view. the beach was behind us, but it just was blocked off for anyone to cross behind. we had to walk down the street to an entrance. we had the view of the beach and pool that was below us. i believe each room had its on bathroom. the house was huge and spacious.

i was just about to unpack my things when jack grabbed my hand and turned me to face him. we were inches away from each other. "we can always unpack later. i've been waiting to get you alone." jack said as he starts to kiss me around my neck. i groaned in pleasure and began to feel impatient. i start to tug at his shirt which caused him to take it off instantly.

with that, we both began to undress and it led us to the bed and well you know. jack and i lay there looking at the ceiling out of breath. i giggled and moved to look at him. "babe you're so handsome." i said as i mess with his hair. "thank you baby, and you are absolutely stunning with clothes and without." he said as he lifted the bed sheets. i blushed and covered my face.

i grabbed jacks shirt that was on the floor and put it on. "i think we should get dressed and start unpacking." i said. jack groaned but got up. he throw on his underwear and shorts. i looked for my underwear too and put them on it just felt weird without it..

we start to unpack which then i pulled out a green tank top with from high waisted shorts. once i was dressed i put on my birks and fixed my hair. jack was wearing a white shirt with black sweat shorts. we walked out the room hand in hand and saw everyone downstairs. he looked at us smirking and we just rolled our eyes in a joking matter.

"okay so i think we should first head out to the grocery store to get the necessities then we can just come back and relax by the pool or go to the beach." nicole said. "i think julia and i are gonna stay back and take a nap we're exhausted. just let me know how much yall spent then i can send like money for it." johnson said. "don't worry about it johnson!" jack shouted as we walked out.

to my surprise the boys didn't make a joke about that, but nate ended up saying he was gonna stay too. instead of taking two cars this time we got into sammy and nicole's car. while we drove to the store sammy was telling us how he hated madison and doesn't understand why she's here. i could see jack getting tense ever so often just hearing her name. i don't know if it was because he didn't like her or that sammy was talking bad about her.

it kind set my mood a little off, but whatever. once we got there we grabbed two carts while the boys shopped for what they wanted, nicole and i went to get the things we actually needed. "savs how are you feeling." nicole said as she pushed the cart. i shrugged my shoulder, "i just don't want to spend my time here worrying about her and what she could possibly do." i sighed.

"savs you have julia and i to back you up. i won't let that rat do you any harm." nicole said. i laughed at the name she gave her. we started grabbing fruits, vegetables and proteins because us girls wanted to at least cook some while we're here. we gathered things for breakfast, lunch and dinner in case. that's when we bumped into the boys who just had cases of beers and some liquor bottles. oh and two packs of water. "i think we need more water than beer." nicole chuckled.

the boys shrugged and continued to follow us until we finished and went to checkout. i made sure to get jack and sammy distracted putting the bags into the carts so i could pay. they told us the total and i instantly tapped my card to pay. jack looked at me and shook his head.

we made it back to the car and loaded it up. jack and i sat in the back. "you should've let me pay babe." jack said touching my thigh. i shook my head and smiled. the car ride was silent but a good silent, we made it back to the airbnb and started to put away the grocery.

i grabbed a water and sat down on the couch in the living room. few minutes passed by and somehow i ended up falling asleep.

*few hours later*

i woke up from my nap to find the house quiet. i checked the time on my phone and it was 5pm now. i'm confused why jack didn't wake me up. last time i checked it was 3pm. anywho, i walked up to my room to see if jack was there but he wasn't. i called nicole to see where everyone went, she answered and said they went to the beach to walk around. kinda stung a little that they didn't wake me up but whatever right?

i decided to just make some food for all of us. i decided on making mexican styled rice with beans and steak. i started off with the rice and the since i didn't have time to freshly boil beans i just used can beans and mashed them. once they were both done cooking i started on the steak. i seasoned it and started grilling them on the stove.

i finally finished and served myself. it's now 6:30 and no one is back. i start to scroll on my phone while i ate, didn't get one message from jack. i finished my food and started cleaning up the kitchen. i left it ready for whenever they came back so they could eat.

after cleaning up, i went to my room and washed my face and brushed my teeth. since they weren't home yet i just decided to head to bed. i would have went walking to meet up with them but i mean.. i don't think it's safe for a girl to be walking around alone.. just saying.

i turned my phone off and covered myself and soon fell asleep again.
