Jeonghan: Beer or hot coffee? [said with a smile; this was our thing-whether it's joy or sorrow, our option was always the same].

Y/N: we broke up and Beer please...[said with weak smile]

Jeonghan stood up and went to the bar to get soju, placing it on the table.

Jeonghan: I guess today, this might work better than beer. [Should I be happy now, Do i stand a chance now or is it too soon? I mean, not just right now, but I know, I know now. No one can take her of Y/N than me, and maybe even love her.He was thinking this to himself.]

Y/N: My breakup happened, and you're lost in thoughts. [said while looking at him]

Jeonghan: Sorry. So, will you tell me what happened? [pouring soju into the glass]

Y/N: For that, I'll need to drink some soju first. [said while controlling her tears]

Jeonghan: Cheers. [Y/N was quickly drinking soju back to back, and Jeonghan felt terrible seeing her hurt. He was feeling guilty.]

Flashback - Before Y/N started dating Riyo

In the Seventeen (SVT) dance practice room, Y/N had arrived earlier than usual today, coming directly from her hometown. There was almost an hour left for the boys to arrive. She texted Jonghan to inform him earlier, letting him know that she might be late as she was coming from her home.but she ended up arriving on time. She called Jeonghan.

Y/N: Hey, did I disturb you? I mean, are you free to talk? (asked softly)

Jeonghan: Hey heartpiece, where have I told you not to be formal? You know I don't pick up the phone if I'm too busy. Where are you? When will you arrive? And don't rush. (He continued speaking, and Y/N interrupted.)

Y/N: Hey Hannie, take a breath. I already reached, that's why I called. (She said while laughing)

Jeonghan: So soon? (shocked)

Y/N: Riyo picked me up early in the morning from home, and I came with him.

Jeonghan: Why with Riyo? I mean, I could have come to pick you up. (He sounded a little jealous but still confused about his feelings)

Y/N: Stop sulking, just be on time and inform the boys.

Jeonghan: I am not sulking; it's just that I can't share you with anyone, you are my heartpiece after all. (in a low voice)

Y/N: You are forever, Hannie. No one can take your place. Now stop these senty talks; you know I can't handle all this. See you at practice.

Jeonghan: You are my forever too, heartpiece. (happy, ends the call)

After ending the call, Seventeen members were in the HYBE building.

Joshua: Hyung, don't you think you love Y/N? (said while looking at Jeonghan)

Scoups: As if he will accept. We all know he'll say she's my best friend. (placing a hand on Joshua's shoulder) By the way, when will Y/N arrive for dance practice?

Woozi - y/n arrived ?? i need to discuss some song with her. [joined the conversation]

Jeonghan: She's already here; Riyo picked her up early in the morning, so... (said in a lower voice)

Mingyu: (joining the conversation) If you're just Y/N's friend, are you okay with her dating Riyo or any other guy?

Jeonghan: It's her life, guys. Stop it. Anyway, I'm going to dance class, but don't come on time. (said, showing fake anger, and left the room)
