Finally, it was Hannie's turn. He stepped in front of her, hands tucked into his pockets, that familiar crooked smile tugging at his lips. She looked up at him, her heart caught between beating and breaking. Both their eyes shimmered with tears at the edge, but neither let them fall. Not yet. And for that brief moment, it felt as though the world had gone quiet time pausing just for them.
They stood there, simply looking at each other. No words, no movement—just the language of their eyes. His gaze said,"You're my safe place... even when I'm far away."
Hers replied softly,"And you'll always be my heartbeat... even when I can't hear it."
He blinked slowly, almost like sealing a promise. "Don't forget me."
Her eyes curved into the faintest smile. "As if I ever could."

He tilted his head, the corners of his mouth twitching. "Take care of yourself for me."
She answered without a sound. "Only if you take care of yourself for me too."
Their silent conversation stretched on, as if they were afraid that once they broke it, reality would pull them apart. And in that moment, no one else existed—only two souls who understood each other so deeply, words would have only gotten in the way. Their eyes still locked, but now there was the faintest flicker of mischief between them.
Hannie's gaze narrowed ever so slightly, and in her mind she could almost hear him mutter, "Don't forget me with your new friend Namjoon."
Her eyes widened in playful offense, answering back silently, "Oh please, as if anyone could replace you, dummy."
He smirked, rolling his eyes in mock defeat, and her lips curved into the tiniest smile. Beneath the teasing, their hearts still ached but this little game made it easier to breathe.
His look softened again, saying,"Promise you'll eat on time."
She blinked slowly, "Only if you promise to sleep before sunrise."
He raised one brow,"That's a hard one... but okay."
She bit her lip,"And don't overwork yourself."
