Hannie's POV

The backstage area buzzed with noise, movement, and nervous energy. Staff members hurried past with headsets on, makeup artists fixed final details, stylists adjusted jackets for the hundredth time, and somewhere nearby Seungkwan was loudly complaining that the stage lights were personally targeting him.

"I'm serious," he argued dramatically. "Why is my sweat sparkling already?"

"Because you're glowing," DK said proudly.

"That was disgusting," Woozi muttered without even looking up from the monitor.

Usually this chaos made me feel grounded before performances. Today though? My mind kept drifting somewhere else,Vienna. Y/N. Joshua noticed immediately.

"You're distracted," he said calmly while adjusting his mic pack

Hoshi looked personally offended. "That was ONE accident."

"You kicked me in the soul

"That's physically impossible." hoshi replied

I laughed softly despite myself. The boys kept talking around me performance timings, transitions, in-ear problems, little jokes to ease the pre-stage nerves but underneath all of it, my thoughts stayed stuck on one thing.

I wanted to hear her voice before the concert started. Just once and maybe that's why every time someone walked near me, my eyes instinctively lifted hoping it was my phone lighting up. Unfortunately... it wasn't. It was Geum Hi. She walked toward us holding a clipboard loosely in one hand, dressed casually despite the chaos around her. The moment her eyes landed on me, her expression softened automatically familiar, careful, almost hopeful.
