Chapter Twenty-Nine

Chris grins as he looks at the challenge that he has made. Today is a special day indeed considering that it's the last episode of this season. So he decided to make it special!

"Good morning Alejandro and Jose! Today is the last episode of this season of Total Drama Payback! Sad isn't it?"

"Today's challenge will come in three parts! The first part, as you can see is a truth or lie questionnaire! You will be held over the water, upside down, by a rope that is tied around your legs. You will then answer questions, that I ask. If you answer the question truthfully, then you're safe until the next question. If you answer with a lie, not only will you be shocked, but you'll also be dropped into the lake." Chris laughs before he continues. "The one who answers the question with more truths than lies will get an advantage on the second part!"

"This sounds easy enough. I don't really have anything to lie about so it should be fine other than the fact that I'll be held upside down for only Chris knows how long."

Alejandro was hung over the water, the only thing holding him up was some old rope Chef found in the shed.

"Each of you will be asked ten questions. The last question will be the most important, so don't mess up."

Alejandro was first.

"Alejandro, does your last name mean "Dead Donkeys"? Lie or truth?"

Alejandro sighs, feeling a little light headed. "Truth."

Noah was in his room getting ready. He couldn't tell if he was excited, nervous, angry, and happy. Heather told him to stop ignoring his emotions and to instead embrace them and try to figure which ones are which before trying to solve the problem of why they're all there in the first place.

Heather may not act like it, but she's really good at giving advice.

"Do I really have to wear this?" He asks as he looks into the mirror.

His face was flushed from embarrassment as he looked at himself.
He really hated Chris right now because of this.

"You look amazing Noah, calm down." Heather answers. "You don't have to worry about a thing."

Chris smirks as Jose gets dropped into the lake. "Nice day isn't it?" He laughs as he looks at the camera. "Before I ask the next few questions, I wanna introduce you all to our guests of the hour, the Peanut Gallery!" Chris moves to the side, away from the camera and shows all of the ex contestants'. "Welcome back!"

The ex contestants' all cheer and clap. Chris seems satisfied with the response and turns his attention back to the two brothers.

"Last question for you, Al! Rumor is that you love my dear assistant, Noah? Lie or Truth?" The host asks.

Alejandro answers without the slightest bit of hesitation. "Yes, yes I do."

The crowd cheers and Jose just rolls his eyes.
