Aradhna reaches office. It's her first day and she was excited and nervous at the same time.
She enters the workplace area and again feeling very overwhelmed by all the events, that she is able to work in the NationTrue channel.
15 days back , she was whining about not having a job in hand and was almost giving up on the thought of taking up journalism as a primary field and she gets the call for this company.

Just when she is walking ahead smiling and lost in her thoughts , she bumps into a figure. She was wearing heels because of which she loses balance. She immediately closes her eyes , ready to fall and face the embarrassment on her first day of work , when a pair of strong hands hold her by the waist. She slowly opens her eyes after a few seconds and she is now looking into a pair of handsome but intense dark eyes and his touch on her bare waist gave her a strange tingling feeling.
She was so lost in staring that she didn't realise that these eyes belonged to her new boss ! It's Reyansh Lamba ! Her eyes immediately widen on realisation and she stands straight. He releases his clutch on her.
Reyansh - Where's your focus , Ms Sahni ? Day Dreaming can be done later. Focus on your work or you want to be fired on your first day itself ?
Aradhna - Sorry Sir...I hope I didn't hurt you.
Reyansh - No 'Sir' , just call me Reyansh. Get back to work.
Aradhna is shown her cubicle. She is embarrassed but then once she sees her cubicle she gets excited.
In the place she worked before , she just had a small old dusty desk in the corner of the room where she had to search and write about entertainment gossip.
She places a small Ganesha Murti on her desk and prays to him, asking him to give her blessings for the first day of work.
A peon welcomes her and asks her if she wants coffee or tea. She greets him first and asks for his name. As she is sipping her coffee, she just looks around.
It's a hustling environment . Since it's a news channel. Every scoop , every story is very important and has to be published with the right proofs ontime.
She was just receiving a beginner's tour of the workplace since it was her first day and she still required certain permissions and access to the systems and tools.
That afternoon, an emergency meeting is held and everybody rushes to one of the meeting rooms. Nobody is aware of the reason behind the sudden call.
Reyansh is seated at the first chair and he didn't look very happy. Once everybody assembles , he switches on the Tv and changes the channel to 'Rebublic Times' .

Reyansh - This news about the drug mafia case was ours... how did it go to the rival channel ?
Vikram ( the VP of NationTrue ) - The Kotwal drugs scandal ?? It was confidential , how did it get leaked ?! It was such an important scoop for us !
Reyansh (yells) - WHO DID THIS ?!
Nobody responds...
Reyansh - You all know that there is no room for dishonesty in NationTrue !
Reyansh sees Aradhna and gives her a stern look which scares her.
Reyansh (angrily)- hey ?! Is it you ? You joined and we see a story getting leaked... are you a spy for Republic Times ?!
Aradhna freaks out.
Aradhna - NO No Mr Lamba...I joined today and I am not even aware of the security systems here.
Reyansh (in spite) - Well , that's what every thief says ?!
Aradhna (sternly) - I am sorry Mr Lamba. But you can't just accuse me of something I haven't done. I am new and not aware of pre production news information . And you don't have any solid proofs against me...
Vikram - Calm down guys ! This is not the solution. Everybody go back to your seats.
Aradhna is frustrated. This is the last thing she expected on the first day of her job. Being accused of leaking important information to a rival channel.
She is annoyed and just sits at her place with an angry pout....
Vikram approaches her after a short while.
Vikram - Hi Aradhna , don't worry. It was an important news that got leaked , so obviously first suspicions would be on the new recruits.
Aradhna - Hi Vikram. I understand the consequences. But without proofs , accusing somebody of a security breach is wrong too. It's demotivating.
Vikram - I understand... but don't get demotivated. It's just your first week and you still have a lot to do and gain that trust from your employers. Also, a tip for you , Republic Times is our rival channel.
Aradhna - Aahh Okay. I wasn't aware of that. But yes, I will work hard to gain the position of a trusted employee.
Vikram - Great!
With that Vikram leaves from her desk and she sits down , a bit relieved after her pep talk with Vikram.
Aradhna (to herself ) - He's a sweet guy. Unlike Reyansh... and he didn't even bother to apologise.
She retreats to the office cafeteria with her fellow employee to have a quick coffee.
