"Eva!" I turned around and saw a blonde-haired girl dressed in a floral red mini dress and white heels walking towards me.

"Hi. How's your wound? Are you feeling better?"I raised a brow at her.

"Do I know you?" She gasped.

"OMG, I'm so sorry. Of course, you don't know who I am. My name is Mckenzie Clawn. I was there when you fought Jake. In fact, I wanted to thank you. Jake is a total jerk and I'm glad someone finally put him in his place, especially a girl at that. You're really amazing," She smiled sweetly at me.

Clawn? Where have I heard that name before?

"Uh....thank you," I smiled back at her.

"Where are you going?" She asked me.

What's it to ya?

"Um, I going to see a friend of mine," I responded.

"Oh, ok," Again, I looked at her in confusion.

"Yeah, bye," I turned to leave.

"Wait!" I turned to her.

"Yes?"

"If you don't mind me asking, but what's your relationship with Ralph?" I inwardly glared at her.

What's it to ya? How about you say what you freaking want and leave me alone?!  That is what I wanted to say to her, but couldn't as it was my first day on the job, and I didn't want to start any trouble.

"He's my best friend. Why? Is there a problem?"

"No there's no problem. Is just that I was wondering if you could help me,"

Get to the point!

"And that is?" I said, giving her a fake can-do attitude.

"I like him and I was hoping you could help me talk to him?" She asked looking shy.

So that's what this is about?  I smiled at her.

"I'm sorry, but I don't know anything about you. So I wouldn't know what to say in favor of getting him to talk to you,"

"Oh, that's fine. He knows who I am,"

Then talk to him yourself.

"Okay, if he's interested that is," I turned to leave. She held my hand.

"Please," She asked shyly.

Did she just beg me?! For Ralph to notice her?!!  I gave her a big smile.

"I'll see what I can do," she smiled.

"Thank you. Bye," She skipped away happily. Literally.

Ralpheal, I have finally rescued you from your sad single life. I smiled and walked away.

The kitchen stood empty when I walked in. I thought it would be better to make myself something quick and light to eat, so I decided to make a sandwich. I hummed a tune as I brought out my ingredients and decorated the bread slices with veggies and meat.

Midway, my mind went back to last night, when I and Xander almost kissed. I smiled, remembering how lovely his brown eyes looked, how they shimmered in the light, and how soft his lips looked up close. I was so lost in thought, that I didn't notice someone walk in. I also didn't notice someone raid the fridge and close it shut after he/she was done.

"Do you normally stuff yourself with food in the morning?" I flinched and turned to see Xander staring at me questionably.

"Huh?" I looked down and realized I had just made two sandwiches.
