After 9 days my mom's finally going back to Boston, I love her and love that she took the time to be here so I wouldn't be lonely, but it also limited my time with Flor, since dinner at her place I've only seen her 2 other times but we have kept in touch over the phone either calls or texts.

"I'm gonna miss you mom" we're almost arriving at the airport to drop her off, Dodger coming along.

She laughs before replying. "No, you're not, I know you love me, don't get me wrong but between either work and family things you and Flor have been apart." I laugh because there's no way I'm contradicting that. "Are you sure you don't need me to take Dodger with me?"

"I'm sure, thank you though. I only left him behind because I don't really like my place here and I don't want him to be alone there, but Flor can take him for a few hours, or Scott, he can even come with me to work sometimes."

Soon I'm parking the car, but she tells me not to go down with her, so she won't get a lot of attention, so we say our goodbyes in the car, I wait until she texts me letting me know she's at her gate before leaving the parking lot, just in case she needs something or there is a delay on her flight. She texts me saying she's at the VIP lounge and that she'll text before takeoff.

I turn to see Dodge, "Are you ready to go see Flor, bubba?" he gets all excited, so we begin out trip to the store, but I go pick up some coffees before, so I don't go empty handed.

I led Dodger go first so he can announce our arrival. "Good morning, buddy, did you drop off grandma already?" Flor talks to Dodge like he's gonna respond and even though he doesn't talk he does bark at her as an answer. "Good morning handsome" she says to me before lean in to kiss me, but we heard someone clearing their throat, so she lands it on my cheek.

"Good morning sweetheart. Good morning, Susana." I say without turning around, I've noticed that her sister doesn't like me much, so I'm trying to win her over.

I hear some laughing, so I turn around only to see Laurel smirking while petting Dodger "it's good to know we keep you on your toes." I shake my head while laughing before giving her a coffee. "Thank you very much."

I can see dodger go lay down on he's bed and play with one of his toys. "You're welcome, and you're not keeping me in my toes, you already like me Susana not so much."

"I HEARD THAT!" We hear from the back.

"I wasn't whispering nor lying." At this she comes to us. "Hi Susana, good morning"

"Good morning. It's not that I don't like, your fine as a friend, I'm scare you're gonna hurt my little sister and I've to hide your body cause you might be missed by many people." I laugh grabbing my chest. "I wasn't joking, my husband's a detective so he'll help hide the evidence." I shake my head before grabbing Flor so she can lean on me.

"Hey, don't use me as shield!" I simply kiss her head and she turns her focus to her sister. "Sissy please stop scaring him. Besides Luke's not gonna help you hide a body; he didn't even help you tell our dad you were living together." Susana just shrugs her shoulders before grabbing a coffee and going to the back again.

"How can I help today?" I say to both Laurel and Flor.

"Well today is restocking day again, John will come around noon so you can help put everything where it belongs." Laurel tells us while checking their agenda.

"Is he bringing his daughter again?" I met Ally last time I came to the store, turns out her mom's a nurse so that's why John brings Ally to choose some flowers for mommy, to brighten her day.
