"Baby I'm gonna go pick up Dodge from ma's, you're sure you don't want to come along?"

"Thanks love, but I forgot to bring some stuff so I'm gonna get an uber for a quick trip to target."

"I can drop you off and pick you up when you're done."

I panic "but I still have to get ready, you go ahead, maybe you can pick me up but I don't want to keep you any longer."

He narrows his eyes at me "are you sure you're okay?"

I roll my eyes "yes, I'll text you when I'm out of the house, say hi to Lisa from me. Love you." I quickly leave a kiss on his cheek before running upstairs to get ready, I can hear him chuckling before the front door closes "I put him through hell planning the proposal and I get it now."

*PHONE CALL*

Hi Barbie.

Hi Ken.

Ready for me to pick you up?

Yes, please.

I'm already turning down the block, see you in a minute.

I fucking knew Scott was eager to start our plan, I should've got ready sooner, I quickly change my clothes before taking my bag and going downstairs, as soon as I walk out the door, I see him parking his car so before he gets off, I get in.

"Let's go!" He's way to excited, I laugh and nod.

I sent a quick text to Chris telling him. I'm out of the house and he calls me.

"Don't talk." Scott nods and I take the call.

*PHONE CALL.*

"Hey sweetie."

"You left so soon."

"Yes, I want to get done by the time you're almost done as well."

"I could've drop you off."

I chuckle.

"I'm a big girl Chris."

"I know love, is just... We just got to Boston."

"I tell you what, I'll call Scott so he can meet me, okay?"

"Thank you love, that'll keep me calm."

"Love you."

"You do realize you're lying to my brother?"

I groan "I know, and just a little bit, but he did such a good job with the proposal I want to surprise him as well."
