FLOR.

Being marry to the love of your life is such a wonderful thing, but after a few days enjoying our married life he received a call for a new project, at first he didn't take it, but it was a role he really liked so he couldn't refuse just to stay with me, so here we are not even a week after our wedding and we're flying back to LA, he wanted to come drop me and Dodger home before traveling across the world.

"Are you sure it's okay for me to go? It's not too late to say no."

I chuckle "you loved the script, it's okay."

He sighs "what if you come with me?"

"I still have things to sign to be able to give away the property, besides I need to start making calls to have build my greenhouse in the backyard."

He smiles caressing my face "even though I'm gonna miss you, I love that you're so independent."

"If I can go visit, I will." He nods and takes my hand, I take a look at our hands and sigh "I need to talk to you about something."

"Sure, what?"

"Now that we're going to be apart, I would like to keep the news of our marriages to ourselves, you won't wear your ring because you're gonna be shooting and I can wear my engagement ring."

He groans "I want the world to know we're husband and wife."

"I know, but is it the smartest thing to do?" He just looks at me saying nothing so I know I have to explain why I'm asking this "You know how paps can be, and I'm gonna be here alone... I just want to make the announcement when we can both hide from the world for a little bit."

He takes a deep breath but eventually he nods "you promise you're gonna keep your engagement ring on?"

"I promise, besides I thought of a solution" he raises an eyebrow "we can wear our wedding rings on our necklaces, that way we'll still wear it just not around our fingers."

He smiles "it's a good compromise for me." I smile and lean forward to kiss him "fuck, I'm gonna miss you so much."

"I'm gonna miss you too." I rest my head on his shoulder, while caressing Dodger's head on my lap.

"Just try to not spoil him so much other wise I'll have to sleep in the guest bedroom when I get back."

I chuckle "how can I spoil him more than flying on a private jet?"

He sighs "Fair point." He rests his head on mine, I don't know when but I felt asleep in that same position until he called my name "we're close to landing, so we need to keep him calm." I nod and turn to Dodger, he's still next to me, but as he sense something's changing he's sitting next to my feet instead of the seat next to me. "Buddy, come." Dodger turns to Chris and then to me, I nod and then he walks to Chris "seriously?" I just shrug while he shakes his head, then he grabs Dodge's collar and caress his head, he does get a little fidgety with the landing, but Chris handles it pretty well.

One of the perks of flying private is that we don't have to go through baggage claim, we can just get to the parking lot we're a car is waiting for us, it's morning right now, we arranged our fly so our schedule wouldn't be that disrupted, even if we were in Boston just for a few days, we have different time zones and weather so it's better to plan ahead, especially since I'll be alone with Dodger and he has a lot energy to burn off.

As soon as we get off the plane, Chris holds my hand walking us to a car park close by to get us home "I didn't want to call anyone just to enjoy this last day just us."

I smile "that's okay, I just want to get home and enjoy a lazy day together." He kisses my hand and opens up the door for me, but Dodger gets in first laying down making me laugh "looks like you'll have to take the front seat." He groans but says nothing, I get in and he closes the door after me before getting in himself.

The drive is pretty smooth, I look through my window caressing Dodger's head, even if he's calm I do it, it's a way to calm myself, I need to keep my feelings down so Chris doesn't realize just how much it's affecting me this trip of his, it's the first time since my attack that he'll be away from me, and I'm not scare of being alone in the house, I'm scare of being alone elsewhere but I do realize is something I need to face, and most important I know he's anxious about the same thing, I won't be the reason he gives up a good project, so even if I have to fake it, everything will be alright.

Fake it 'til you make it, right?

We enter through our gate and soon the car is parking outside, Chris opens up the door for me, and as soon as I'm out our dog jumps out of the car and runs to the door, scratching it for us to open "well... home sweet home." I laugh before walking to our door to unlock it letting Dodger run freely.
