FLOR.
Talking with my dad was hard but talking to my mom was devastating, thank God my dad was with me.
But at least both of them where fascinating with travel on a private plane, even though my dad did groan when he found out who's it was.
Between my dad needing to talk to his work and pack a bag, the flight to my mom's city and her also needing to call work and pack some things it took us 18 hours to get back to LA. My sister did know I went to talk with our dad, but she doesn't know neither of them is coming.
We arrive to LA, and as soon as we get off the plane, I see a car waiting for us.
"No sabía que también tenías un chofer." My dad tells me, I don't know if his being sarcastic or not.
("I didn't know you also have a driver.)I'm about to reply but someone opens the door of the car and Chris comes out of it, I yelp and run to him jumping the second I'm close enough.
"I finished everything, I'm here baby." And that sends me crying again and I cling to his cloths.
CHRIS.
Picking up Flor and her parents from the hangar was both the right and the wrong decision. Right because Flor needed me and let everything out the moment she got to me, wrong because her dad has been staring daggers at me since we got to the car, her mom's being nice though.
"No me gusta este chico." I'm not about to say I understand because I assume he said it in Spanish so I wouldn't do it.
(I don't like this guy.)"Don't talk in Spanish in front of people who don't understand it, it's rude." Her mom says.
"So, if they have kids, we'll never speak Spanish again?"
Flor coughs and I smile "no, first of all, Flor is teaching me Spanish but I'm still rusty on it and secondly if we ever have kids, they'll be bilingual like their mom." I say while taking Flor's hand and intertwining our fingers.
Her dad nods before leaning forward and stretching his hand "Miguel Morgan, Florencia's father." I smile and shake his hand.
"Christopher Evans, Florencia's boyfriend." He nods before leaning back again.
"So, I assume this was Robert's doing as well?" I can hear how his voice change when he says Robert's name.
"Well, we met when Flor went visit on set and we reconnect on the party he through for Flor."
He furrows his brows "party? What party?"
I panic because I didn't realize they weren't invited.
Flor decides to ease the situation "Papá, have you ever come to one of Robert's parties?" He shakes his head "have you ever been to his house?" He shakes again "have you been invited to either of those?" He nods "but you decided not to show, so Robert decided to stop trying."
"I still think it's rude he threw a party for our daughter and didn't invite us."
"Talk for yourself, I was invited but I couldn't come." Flor's mom says.
I love Flor's mom.
He groans "Okay, everyone loves Robert, I get it."
