CHRIS.
Susana has been talking with Flor, trying to give her some memories back but it doesn't ring a bell to her, I excuse myself to go out to the hallway and call Robert.
*PHONE CALL*
We have a problem.
What happened?
Good thing is Flor is awake.
That's awesome, what's wrong then?
She has some swelling in her brain, she doesn't remember a lot of things.
Like?
Like you and I.
She doesn't remember me?
No, it'll take time but she'll remember everything eventually.
Can I go see her?
Let me ask, okay? I don't want to overwhelm her.
I understand, let me know. I'm going to be there at 3 anyway to give you your bag and lunch.
If it's too hard for you to be here and not see her, I can go pick it up.
No, it's okay, I can do it.
If you're sure.
Ask her is she'll like to see me or meet me for that matter. If not, you can go see me in the waiting room.
Sure, I'll text you after talking to her.
Thanks Chris, take care.
*END OF PHONE CALL*
I walk back in the room, and sit down on the sofa closer to the window, before raising my gaze to see Flor and Susana, Flor's looking at me with a frown on her face "What?" I ask confuse because I don't know what happened.
"Who did you call?"
I sigh "Robert, he's bringing me lunch and my bag so I can change and wash my teeth... preferably take a shower as well."
"Oh, I didn't think about that... You can go home if you like."
"No, I won't leave until you go with me."
"Chris, a shower and a nap won't take you much time." Susana tells me.
"Thanks, but no."
"I can stay with her."
"Thanks again, but it's still a no."
She sighs "I've taken care of her, you know?"
"It's not about that." I can see she's about to respond when Flor pads her hand and shakes her head.
"Why are you seating there?" Flor asks me.
I frown and look on the couch to see if I'm on top of something "What do you mean?"
