NOT A CHAPTER

96 2 1

Right now, is getting hard for me to keep this story going, the first time I thought of this story my ending was their wedding but as the story flowed it seemed like there's more to tell... not exactly to put on hold, but it may be a few days/weeks for me to post an update.

But I do have another story in mind, a couple of them actually, but I need first the one to do the second (sort of a prequel but not exactly?) so, before I post it, I want to see if people may be into it and I've notice that lately this story is getting more attention, so I decided to post the draft of the story to see if it's worth to post.

Please leave a comment if you'll like to read a new one.

Have a nice day!

EDGE OF GREAT. (CHRIS EVANS)

I used to think that we were made for each other and maybe we were, sort of right person wrong time maybe. But I guess he was right; I was his soulmate but not the love of his life...

2015

"So... how did it go with Melany?"

"God, I hate that everyone thinks I'm getting with her."

I laugh and scoop over in his bed "why aren't you?"

"I don't like her like that."

I nod and lay next to him "why is love so hard?"

"Love is worth it. Don't you think?" I shrug and he chuckles placing a kiss on my head "have you ever been in love?"

"I don't think so. Have you?"

"Yes, a few times actually."

I nod again and move to my side to be able to lay my head on his chest and hug him "If I ever fall in love, I hope it's to someone like you." I'm getting sleepy.

"Oh my god, that would be amazing, you're my soulmate can you imagine how great we would be together?" I hear him but I'm too tired to reply, he must notice because he leaves a soft kiss on my head again "Goodnight, Em."

"Good night, Chris."

Chris and I have known each other for a while, nearly 10 years now, he's my best friend, we both work in the industry, and we've even been in a few projects together, he's 34 and I'm 28. We met on set, at first, we just knew each other, sort of that "yeah I know who they are." But not friends, when our second movie came along, I was already 23 so we got to hang out more even outside of set, and when the third came we were inseparable.
