Chapter 26

Y/ns POV

I pull up Olivia's drive way and park my car. I stare at the door for a minute and take some deep breaths.

I get out of my car and head towards the front door. I knock 3 times and Dom answers the door. "Oh hey Y/n! Is something wrong?" He says clearly seeing my puffy eyes and red cheeks.

"Is your sister home?" I ask in a shaky voice, avoiding Doms question.

"No, she went out last night and said she was gonna stay at your house..." Dom says his voice getting quieter and quieter each word. "What the fuck did she do?"

Dom leads me into the house and sits me on the couch. I start crying a little again and Dom puts his hand on my knee. "Talk to me," he says.

"Olivia decided to hook up with Noah last night," I say with a slight sniffle.

"What?!" Dom says. I look up at him and he looks shocked and angry.

"Yeah. My best friend, the girl I'm in love with, got with my ex," I say feeling anger rush over me again. "Why would she do that!" I say and Dom shrugs.

" have no idea,"  Dom says.

A couple minutes later Olivia walks in through the front door. "I'm back from Y/ns-" Olivia cuts her self off when she sees Dom and I. "House..."

"We need to talk," I say getting up from the couch and walking over to her. I see a guilty look on her face that she's trying hard to hide. I grab her wrist leading her into her bedroom.

"What the fuck Liv?" I say letting go of her wrist. She turns around and closes her door then turns to me.

"What you mean 'what the fuck Liv'?" Olivia says and u just stare at her for a second. Is she serious?

"You hooked up with my ex?! Is that not a big deal for you?" I yell.

Olivia and I have never yelled at each other. We've gotten into a couple of fights where we've raised our voices but we've never yelled at each other. And I hate being the first to yell at her.

"Y/n I-" she starts talking but I shake my head.

"Honestly I want to know what was running through your head while you were doing that. Did you ever think you were gonna hurt me?" I ask. Olivia looks at her fingers that she's playing with.

I scoff and shake my head. "I can explain..." Olivia speaks up but I shake my head again.

"Save it Olivia. I hope you're happy you lost me. What a great way to end the fucking summer," I say and walk out of her room making sure to hit her shoulder with mine.

I slam her door then walk down stairs. Dom tries to come up to me but I shake my head with tears coming to my eyes. "Not right now," I say quietly.

I walk out of the Rodrigo's house and get into my car. I pull out of their driveway with blurry eyes and it gets so bad I have to pull over not even half a mile later.

I rest my head on the steering wheel and cry. I let it all out. Honestly this felt worse than when Noah cheated on me. This is worse than any pain I've ever experienced.

I just lost my best friend. The girl I love. The one person I counted on to be there for me no matter what. To the same boy that broke my heart.

I wipe my tears and start driving towards the barn. I need to finish some stuff up there and I'd really like to be with Ellie right now. She's never done anything wrong to me. I was the one who cut off communications with her when everything happened with Noah. I'm not about to do it again.

I pull up to the barn seeing Ellie's car and a couple other cars. Shit. I think Ellie's teaching today.

I sigh getting out of the car and walking to the barn again. I peak out in the arena and see Ellie and two other people. Ellie's on the middle instructing while the other two people are on the horses. I walk back into the main barn and to the tack room.

I spent the next 45 minutes packing up my stuff for August. Once Ellie's done teaching she has her lessons put the horses away and all that. She walks into the tack room seeing me.

I immediately break down into tears again and she walks over to me hugging me tight. "I confronted her," I say between sobs.

"Shh, just relax and calm down. You can tell me everything later. I'll come home with you," she says and I nod.

I take a few deep breaths and stop crying Ellie smiles at me and walks out of the tack room to finish a couple other things. Ellie finishes up what she needs to do in the next hour and we both get into separate cars to drive to my house.

Ellie texts halfway that's she's gonna stop at her house to get her things. I text her back okay and continue to drive home.

Once home, I park my car and walk into my house and Nash stands in the kitchen. "Dom told me what happened. I'm sorry Y/n," he says as I walk past him.

"It's fine," I say shortly, not wanting to talk to him. "Ellie's gonna come over."

I run upstairs and strip off my clothes. I put them in the hamper and then take a quick shower. While I'm in the middle of my shower, Ellie knocks on the bathroom door and tells me she's here.

I finish up in the shower and step out. I wrap my body in a towel since I forgot clothes. I walk out of the bathroom and Ellie smiles at me. I walk to my closet and immediately see one of Livs sweatshirts. Tears come to my eyes and I quickly look past and grab my own hoodie. I grab some shorts and then head back into the bathroom.

I change quickly then go back out to Ellie. She has wet hair so I'm assuming she showered quickly at her house. She's laying on my bed probably watching TikTok. I walk over and lay down next to her. She puts her phone down then looks at me. "How are you?"

"I'm okay," I whisper. "I'm really tired though."

"Do you wanna talk about how everything went with Liv?" She asks but I shake my head.

"No, i just wanna sleep," I say and Ellie nods. I turn on my stomach and rest my head on the pillow. I feel a blanket being pulled over me and Ellie lay next to me. She rests her arm on my back and comes closer to me. She draws circles on my back as I slowly fall to sleep, thinking about how much I miss Olivia.
