ELLA AND MILLIE ENJOYED WATCHING THE LAST QUALIFYING OF 2023. Max had succeeded in getting pole position, and now the three of them were chatting in the redbull garage. "Are you excited to officially become World Champion tomorrow?" Antonella asked during their conversation, Max laughed and reminded her he had already won the title in Qatar.
"Yeah but that doesn't really count, not till the season is over." Ella argued, Max shrugged his shoulders. "In that case I'm very excited. You know, traditionally, when the World Champion wins they get a kiss..." He whispered, Ella turned to look at him.
"Who kissed you last year then?" She asked, teasing him. Max rolled his eyes as he realised she caught him in a lie. Max had become more daring lately, more courageous with his feelings for Ella. But they still hadn't kissed, Max was going insane waiting for the moment he could finally kiss her. They were always interrupted, or the timing was wrong, or one of them would pull away at the last second.
Anyone else in Max's position would assume that Ella wasn't into him, and back off. But Max had no doubt in his mind this wasn't the problem, Ella wanted him as much as he wanted her, she just didn't know it yet. Their time would come, Max just had to be patient.
"I want pasta!" Millie declared, Max and Ella both laughed at the young girl. "How about you girls head to the hotel, while I finish up here?" Max offered, this suited the girls and so they got going.
"Millie! Dinner!" Ella shouted, Millie ran to the kitchen from her room, but just as she took her seat at the dining table, her father arrived. "Just in time for dinner, Max." Ella smiled, getting an extra plate and filling it for him. Max thanked her as he took his seat, he was starving.
The three of them enjoyed their dinner, and decided to watch a movie on the couch. "What movie do you want to watch, Millie?" Ella asked, Millie didn't have to think too hard to answer. She wanted to rewatch the Barbie movie.
