ELLAS FRIENDS HAD RETURNED HOME TO ITALY YESTERDAY. Ella had been so happy to see them for the short time they were there, Max was thrilled to see her so joyous. Today, they were in the car on their way for Max's surprise. Max and Ella had decided they wanted to tell Millie about them tonight, they just weren't sure how.
Currently, Millie was in her own world, watching videos on her ipad with her headphones on. Max thought now was as good as a time as any, he gently moved his hand to her thigh. "Gorgeous, we're going to Italy on the 16th, for your Dads birthday on the 17th. I thought we could fly back on the 18th."
"But we already have a holiday to Italy booked for a week starting February 15th?" Ella asked in confusion, she was looking forward to their last little getaway to Italy before the new F1 season started.
"So? Ella I love it in Italy. I won't pass up an opportunity to stay. And besides; one day we'll live there." He said casually, removing his hand from Ella's thigh to continue driving. "You keep saying that..."
"Because it's true. How would you feel if I had a house built for us?" He looked at her intently, searching for any indication of what she thought of the idea. "In Italy? Are you serious?" Ella gasped with a slight laugh, Max shrugged his shoulders as he nodded.
"Of course. I probably wouldn't sell the apartment in Monaco, as it's very handy and holds a lot of memories. But I'd love to live here. Maybe I could get access to build it so that your favourite gazebo is in our back garden?" Max wondered aloud, he had thought about this many times. "Max..."
"Gorgeous don't do that, don't say it's too much because it's not. I want this too. I want us. Forever." He promised, parking the car. Before Ella could speak, Max unbuckled his seatbelt and ushered his girls out the car. "Daddy what are we doing?"
