MAX AND ELLA MET 14 YEARS AGO TODAY, RIGHT IN THIS VERY APARTMENT.  Today, they were 39 and 36, and had an eighteen year old, two twelve year olds and a nine year old. Their life was very busy, but full of love and joy.

"Good morning, gorgeous." Max stretched, Ella kissed her husband on the cheek. "You excited for lunch?" She asked, Max nodded and wrapped his arms around her. "Alfonzo said he'd come and get the kids at half eleven to take to my parents house. And Millie is going to get her car fixed."

"Sounds perfect, the kids are all still asleep the now though..." Max smirked, kissing her gently.

The kids were at Ella's mothers, and Max was waiting patiently for his wife. Ella was wearing a gorgeous white dress with a blue pattern on it, it was perfect for a lunch date. "Ready to go?" Ella asked, Max nodded and took his wife's hand gently.

Today they were going to the very same restaurant they had their first date at, the one they both swore wasn't a date, the one that caused an outcry in the media. "Do you think you know more about me now, than you did that day? That day you made that practically love-declaring speech," Ella teased him, Max rolled his eyes.

"I'm confident I know absolutely everything about you, even more than I knew about you then. And that speech was not my love declaration!"

"I have to go the bathroom, just order for me," Ella smiled knowingly, Max nodded and knew exactly what she wanted to eat anyway.

She felt her phone ring in her pocket, it was her eldest daughter, Millie. "Hey sweetheart," Ella spoke quickly, Millie took a deep breath before she answered. Millie generally got straight to the point on the phone. "Hypothetically, how annoyed do you think Dad would be if I crashed my car on the way to the garage?"
