MILLIE HAD WOKEN HER FATHER UP AT HALF SIX IN THE MORNING. "C'mon Dad! We have to go get Elsy!"
"I'm coming princess, let me find my t-shirt." He laughed, kissing her forehead. "I'll go wake her, you can't go into the living room without us both, remember!" Max yawned his way through to Ella's bedroom alone, Millie waited patiently for her father in his bedroom while Ella was greeted with a morning kiss on the cheek. "Merry Christmas, gorgeous."
"Merry Christmas!" Ella smiled, she stretched quickly and hurriedly put her slippers on. Max gave her a short kiss before they went and got Millie. "Merry Christmas Elsy!" Millie hugged her nanny, Ella asked if she was ready to go and open her presents.
Max and Ella sat on the couch and watched Millie open her presents, they each received a hug and thank you for each present they had got her. From Santa, Millie had gotten a bike. But her father had got her some clothes, toys, books, shoes, a nintendo switch (which Millie was very excited about for family game nights) and some hair bows. Ella had gotten Millie some matching uggs, as well as more clothes and books. Millie loved everything her parents and family had gotten her, though she couldn't help but notice one more big bag of presents with her name on it. "They're from my brothers and my parents Millie," Ella let her know.
Millie opened the last of her presents from the Bonardi family and was thrilled to receive a ukulele from Alfonzo, a barbie remote control car from Adriano with a matching barbie from Alessandro, and finally from Angelo a pink stuffed dinosaur. Ella's parents had given Millie colouring books and pens. Millie asked Ella kindly to tell her family she was very happy and thank them for their presents. Ella's heart melted.
While Millie played with her new toys, it was time for Max and Ella to open their presents. Max received a lego lamborghini from Alfonzo, a RB19 remote control car from Adriano, the xbox F1 23 Game from Alessandro and a ferrari hat from Angelo as well as aftershave from Ella's parents. Ella was very impressed by the Ferrari hat, and forced Max to get a selfie with her when he was wearing it. "Are you ready for my presents?" Ella asked, Max nodded and closed his eyes as she passed him the bag.
