The ratworms had devoured Hexside so much that it took nearly two weeks to rebuild the school. During this time, Principal Bump decided to call an emergency school break. Lucia felt a little guilty for once again breaking her promise to Principal Bump, not to mention that many students had paused their studies thanks to her. The next two weeks off meant for Lucia that she could visit Hope again, but this time she wanted to bring her friends with her. However, she was a little worried that Domovoy wouldn't be too enthusiastic about having a group of teenagers on his property. So Lucia sent a message to the dark blue demon asking if it would be okay if her friends were with her. Domovoy's answer was that he does not have any issues and welcomes the others.
So one Wednesday morning, Lucia and her friends, accompanied by William, set off for Latissa. Axel was the only one missing from the team, who did not go with them due to family stuff. Lucia was a bit sad because she wanted Axel to get to know Hope and Domovoy too.
Finally, they arrived at Domovoy, who was waiting for them on the terrace with Hope. Hope ran happily to Lucia, but when she saw the other witches she stopped and flashed her razor sharp fangs as she continued to growl. Paulina, Zelmira, and Kevin took a few steps back, and Lucia immediately rushed over to Hope. The brunette girl knelt down in front of the grimhyena and looked into her maroon eyes.
"It's okay Hope, they're my friends." Lucia said in a soothing voice. "They won't hurt you."
However, Hope continued to snarl menacingly at the others.
"Hey, calm down." Lucia hushed Hope and tried to stroke the grimhyena's head.
As soon as Lucia's hand touched Hope's head, the brunette felt heat around her eyes again. And the strange, gray fog appeared again in Hope's eyes. At the same time, a few memories appeared in Lucia's mind, in which she and her friends could be seen playing happily. A few moments later, Lucia's ability turned off, and the brunette fell forward, but she managed to stop the fall with her hands just in time, so Lucia found herself on all fours. The brunette felt like throwing up. Then Domovoy appeared and gave Lucia a red potion. After Lucia drank the potion, she slowly stood up and noticed that her friends were watching them worriedly. Hope also glanced uneasily at her owner.
"Don't worry, I'm fine." Lucia forced a smile on her face. "It's just an unpleasant side effect of my power."
"What exactly happened?" Zelmira asked.
"Somehow I managed to show Hope some memories of us." Lucia answered awkwardly.
"You can do that too?" Kevin was surprised.
"Yes." Lucia nodded, then sat down on one of the chairs on the terrace and breathed deeply.
"You weren't joking." Zelmira marveled.
But Paulina said nothing. Lucia looked at her friend.
"Spill it Triple P! I see you want to say something."
The ash blonde haired witch sighed sadly.
"I know you said you don't want to use your power, but don't you think it should be improved somehow?"
Lucia's face was grim.
"I mean, at least practice it until you definitely don't get sick when using it!" Paulina hastily added to what she was saying.
Lucia immediately shook her head.
"Never! I will not deprive any living being of its free will!"
Paulina then looked at William as the orange haired man cleared his throat.
"Paulina is right, Lucia. That would be in your best interest."
"I think it would be better if you told your parents everything." Zelmira also intervened. "They will definitely be able to help."
