"Azura Lucia Noceda time to get up!"
Lucia's eyes popped open almost immediately, as she slowly sat up on her bed and yawned widely, looking around in her slightly messy room. Even if she wanted to, she couldn't tell the color of the wall anymore, because every inch of it was decorated with posters of various beast demons. Regardless, her room was spacious, the right side consisted almost entirely of a large glazed door that led to a huge balcony.
Lucia shuffled over to the glass door, opened it and took a deep breath outside.
Suddenly, a tiny, purple snakeshifter flew up to her and hissed at her playfully.
"Yeah, yeah, I know." mumbled Lucia. "Tell my moms that I'll be down in twenty minutes."
The purple palisman nodded and flew away.
Lucia walked over to her bedside cabinet, took out a towel, then left her room to the bathroom across the corridor. After a good quarter of an hour, she climbed out of the shower and wrapped the towel around herself.
She stepped in front of the mirror and wiped the mist off on a whim. She then took out her toothbrush and poured some toothpaste on it. While brushing her teeth, she glared at herself in the mirror.
Her long brown hair with an orange gradient dangled wet over her shoulders, while two orange strands of hair in front covered her round ears.
Well yes... Round ears... One of the many things she inherited from her human mother. Additionally, she doesn't have a magic bile sac. On the contrary, her golden eyes and brown hair are the only parts she inherited from her witch mother.
Lucia grunted from this line of thought and focused on brushing her teeth instead. After she was done, she returned to her room, but suddenly, a terrible rumble shook the entire floor, and a few moments later, a human-sized slitherbeast rushed straight towards Lucia.
The girl didn't even have a chance to react. The beast jumped on Lucia, knocking her off her feet and threateningly approached her head with its sharp teeth. In an instance, the slitherbeast playfully licked Lucia's face.
"Gross, Snowball, no!" Lucia chuckled. "I just took a shower!"
Snowball didn't seem to care at all, instead kept licking his master over and over as she tried to push him away with little success.
"Eham." Someone coughed from the end of the corridor.
Snowball immediately stopped playing with his owner and turned around to glare at a rather grumpy witch, Amity Noceda. As soon as their eyes met, Snowball immediately retreated and lay down on the floor.
"If I remember correctly, Stringbean said you'd be down in twenty minutes. But you've only just finished your shower." Amity sighed as she helped her daughter up from the floor.
"Don't be mad Mom, just you know, Snowball...
"...is not an indoor pet, yes." Amity finished the sentence.
In a silent response, Lucia just blew aside a few strands of hair that were hanging in front of her eyes.
Amity shook her head.
"Go, get dressed. The others will be here soon."
"Alright Mom." Lucia nodded and entered her room.

After a quarter of an hour, Lucia came out of her room. She petted Snowball, who was napping on the floor, and walked downstairs to the kitchen, where both her mothers, Luz and Amity, were already waiting for her.
