Lucia's alarm clock squealed loudly. The brown girl's eyes opened, as she slammed the annoying structure against the wall, which shattered into pieces. She then tried to go back to sleep, only to be suddenly disturbed by the moving curtain in front of the glass door as the door opened on its own. Amity and Luz flew into the room on their staff.
"Haha! I knew she would do that!" Luz giggled and held out her palm to Amity. Amity rolled her eyes and handed ten snails to her Love, while Luz sticked her tongue out playfully. The brown-haired witch smiled and turned to Lucia, who sat on the bed and hugged her knees, looking sadly in front of her.
"Azura, what's wrong?"
"What if Grandma Odalia is right?" Lucia asked quietly. "What if I'm really going to disappoint you because I don't have magic?"
Amity and Luz looked at each other, then sat on either side of Lucia.
"Don't let your grandmother's words get into your mind." Amity said. "She did the same to me when I was your age. She made me believe that everything I do is wrong and that I will never be good enough. But she wasn't right, just like she isn't right now."
"For her, I'm also bad, a mistake in Amity's life." said Luz. "But if your mother had listened to her, you wouldn't be here now."
"That's right." Amity confirmed. "It was the best decision of my life not to listen to her words anymore, because I got to know your mom and finally had you. The greatest treasure in my life."
"So believe us when we say don't bother putting up with her." Luz said while caressing Lucia's face. "Your grandmother will never understand how perfect you are, magic or not."
Lucia's tears welled up.
"I just..." she sniffed. "I just... I don't want you... to be ashamed... because of... me..."
Luz and Amity hugged their daughter.
"Shh" Amity shushed Lucia carefully. "It's alright. Don't let that cross your mind."
"We could never be ashamed of you" Luz caressed her daughter's back. "We will always be proud of you, no matter what."
Lucia wiped the tears from her eyes and smiled at her mothers.
"I love you."
"You too, mi pequeña niña" laughed Luz. Amity then drew a small magic circle in the air before a large box appeared at the foot of Lucia's bed.
"There you go." said the brown-haired witch. "This includes your uniform and other school supplies that are necessary for the start of the school year. Go and get ready, we'll be waiting downstairs with your mom."

Twenty minutes later, Lucia entered the kitchen in her Hexside school uniform. She was also wearing the magic cloak she had received from Luz.
"Oh my Titan!" Amity gasped when she saw Lucia. "I can't believe that my little girl is finally starting school. Quick, let me take some photos of you."
Amity conjured a camera and took a dozen pictures of Lucia.
"I think this will be enough for now, Batata "Luz put her hand on Amity's shoulder. "We'll be late.".
"You're right," Amity nodded. "Time to go."
The three of them walked out of the house, then Luz and Amity got on their staff. Amity reached out and helped Lucia onto her staff and they flew towards Hexside. Half an hour later, the Noceda family was already standing in front of the school entrance. Over the past twenty-five years, Hexside hasn't changed at all. It was just as huge and robust as when Luz, Amity and their friends came here.
