Chapter XXXIV. - Message

Lucia was in shock, incapable of speaking, with so many incredible events following one another.

From inside a giant bird, Paulina attacked Kewok, the ancient god, whom she had believed to be a figment. Then Priscilla suddenly assumed a terrifying form similar to Kewok's and tore Paulina from the bird. After that, Priscilla knocked out the ash blonde haired witch. Lucia's consciousness could barely process what she saw.

However, as soon as Paulina's body fell to the ground, the sphere shield she had created around her friends disappeared.

"PAULINA!" shouted Zelmira at the top of her lungs, while the eyes of the three-eyed witch lit up a blinding green.

In the next second, Zelmira conjured up her bass guitar and started playing it so wildly and loudly that Lucia and the others had to cover their ears.

Meanwhile, the entire cave shook, and a few seconds later, dozens of thick tendrils burst forth from all directions, forming a giant wall together, blocking Priscilla and Kewok from Paulina. During this time, one of the tendrils lifted Paulina from the ground and carefully placed her next to Zelmira.

Zelmira put away her instrument as her eyes faded, then took Paulina on her shoulder and turned towards the exit.

"Leave! Now!" the three-eyed witch gave the order.

Lucia wanted to retort, but Zelmira looked at her in such a way that the brown-haired girl thought it better not to object. Meanwhile, Kevin summoned Gastly, who carried Amity and Hunter on his shoulders.

The children hadn't even taken two steps when a huge explosion shook the entire room, and Lucia felt herself being pulled back by some invisible force. The brown haired girl cried out in surprise and soon found herself at the feet of Priscilla and Kewok. Lucia looked up at Priscilla, whose red glowing eyes seemed to show pain in addition to anger. At that moment, Achoo crawled out of Lucia's hair with blue glowing eyes and ice spikes all over her body.

"Achoo, no!" Lucia shouted, but it was too late.

The little ice salamander opened its mouth and shot tiny shards of ice at Priscilla and Kewok.

Kewok raised his hand as all the ice shards stopped in the air and fell to the ground.

Suddenly, the ground beneath Lucia moved straight towards her friends. The brown-haired girl looked ahead and saw Axel touch his hand to the ground with magic circles around his hand. Meanwhile, Celeste conjured the abomination slime out of the bottles and kneaded it into a larger snake. After that, she quickly poured a gray colored liquid on the abomination snake. The abomination snake opened its mouth and filled the entire cave with thick gray smoke.

Lucia hurriedly took Achoo from her hair and placed her on her palm. Although the brown-haired girl could barely see anything due to the smoke, she could still make out Achoo's bright eyes, which she looked deeply into.

"Please, Achoo, hide in my hair and don't come out until I say so!" Lucia issued the order.

Achoo nodded hesitantly, then changed back into her base form, ran up Lucia's body with lightning speed and nestled in her owner's hair.

Then the ground below Lucia stopped and the brown-haired girl found herself in front of Axel.

"Go!" said the boy with cobalt blue hair, as he helped Lucia up from the ground and they started towards the exit.

At this moment, the smoke began to be absorbed. Lucia turned back and saw Kewok sucking the smoke into his palm. Meanwhile, Priscilla raised her hands with a snarl, then swished them down. At that moment, the entrance to the cave collapsed.
