Zelmira rummaged through her breakfast listlessly. After she realized at dawn that she had fallen in love with Paulina, she simply couldn't do anything else but think about her. And the more she thought about it, the more certain she was that she had feelings for the girl. But she had no idea what she was supposed to do now? Ask Paulina out on a date? And what if she says no? And if so, would it end badly? It would change the relationship between the two of them forever.

The three-eyed witch then reminded herself that she and Paulina were barely on speaking terms at the moment, so there would be no chance of asking her out on a date.

Zelmira sadly stuck her fork into the meat in front of her and sighed loudly.

For now, she has to somehow reconcile with Paulina and then maybe she can think about a date. Perhaps the best solution would be to let Paulina actually stand up to Grom.

Every part of the three-eyed witch protested violently at this thought. Zelmira slammed the table in anger.

No! She has to show Paulina that she really believes in her to defeat Grom. She will support and help her no matter what. She needs to let her know that...

"Are you alright, sweetie?"

Zelmira looked up from her breakfast directly at her mothers, who looked back at her worriedly. The three-eyed witch didn't even notice when her parents had sat down at the table.

"Of course." she muttered, looking down. "Everything is fine, just..."

"You're just worried about Paulina, aren't you?" Skara asked.

Zelmira nodded.

"There's something else, right?" Skara looked at her curiously.

Zelmira looked at her parents. Her mom has always been understanding with her. She could rely on her whenever she was going through some kind of emotional crisis. She could always trust her under all circumstances. If it wasn't for Paulina, her mom would probably be her best friend. That is why she believed that if she told her mother how she felt about Paulina, she would definitely accept and support this relationship.

Her mother, on the other hand, was the brute force herself. A tough witch who rarely showed tenderness. When she was young, she thought of this as an example to follow, but now, at the age of fourteen, she realized that this was not a viable path for her. That's why she was afraid to confess this whole thing to Boscha, because she had no idea how her mother would react.

"My little star, you know very well that you can tell us anything." said Boscha in a soft voice.

Zelmira almost cried. The last time her mother called her 'my little star' was when the three-eyed witch was planning to become a grudgby player. However, since she let go of this dream, Boscha never called her that again.

Finally, Zelmira took a deep breath and the following sentence left her mouth:

"What would you say if I told you that I like Paulina?"

Boscha and Skara looked at each other for a fleeting moment, then Skara looked at her daughter with a smile.

"We would say that we are not surprised at all." answered Skara.

Boscha nodded in agreement.

"What?"

Zelmira was completely confused. This was not the answer she expected.

"My little girl, we know you quite well enough to know that you have more feelings for Paulina than just friendship." Skara answered. "But we also saw that you were not aware of this, so we didn't really want to intervene in your relationship."
